+PSA SQUASHTV Why have you forced customers in Europe to use Eurosport the app does not work and has ruined the experience based on reviews in the app store i am not the only one it seems other customers who watch other sports have stated similar issues. I am very angry that you guys have decided to do this my only option is to watch the replays absolute disgrace and if any one else is having issues i encourage that this is shared with Squash TV.
A game is a very tough situation for both the players. Passions and temperament are always high. So it is my sincere suggestion that we avoid judging for their meanness. They are both excellent players and I'm sure good friends off the court. We must enjoy the game.
Wow the referee got confused at one point around 20:00 he gave a stroke to matthew and then a stroke to elshorbagy and then a yes let. Then elshorbagy reviewed and the decision was changed to a no let. Matthew was clarifying with the referee on the decision because he was confused. Then the referee said that it was a no let to elshorbagy. Matthew replied “Then that means i get the point?” The referee was speechless for a second and then said handout 9 all. This was so funny the referee should be a bit more decisive
@Mathew - Agree with you about partial commentary. to be fair joey tries to be neutral but PJ is such a Nick fan! lot of respect for what Nick achieved but his behaviour on court is hardly role model...needs to learn from the women's players like Nicole or Raneem
Near the beginning when Matthew tries to be snarky to ElShorbagy and also matey with the ref saying "that was quite an aggressive movement off the T wasn't it John" when the decision went against him, I literally said out loud "what a prick".
+coldshot Matthew was saying that he hit Elshorbagy with his back-swing, if that was so the rally would have been considered a Let before the Stroke incident even occurred
Matthew should have been penalised for holding up the game, conduct warning etc, Mararella not doing a great job in stopping the chat from him. He didn't touch Shorbagy on the back swing at all.....bad news for sure.
Matthew was trying to cheat here, so it's good that he lost this game..........nobody likes a cheat........especially when he's shown to be so by the video ref.

I kind of felt sad for Matthew when people were booing him. It isn't right, this is not basketball or soccer. This is squash. Yea I get that people are rooting for Elshorbagy but I felt that people were picking on Matthew and trying to put him down. I guess that is what people want to do.

What a fantastic match to watch....and squash isn't worthy of the Olympics!!! Clearly no contact from Shorbagy so a clear stroke....end of....matthew should have accepted the video review and moved on! You don't see players at Wimbledon arguing with the hawk eye do you lol
I am on Shorbagys side but Matthews was obviously confused he didn’t realise his let call was getting video reviewed so if he did see the video he would have accepted it. And I don’t see how one argument from 2 players can judge wether a sport should be in the olympics.
after watching this a couple of times while I'm not a fan of shorbagy and his shenanigans, matthew's persistence on the whether he hit shorbagy was just ridiculous, he clearly hadn't and was just wasting time. I actually sympathise with shorbagy there and think he had real reason to be angry.

Squash TV decides the players through a lucky dip mechanism each Friday, and those who aren't selected for that week are sent back to their respective countries till the next Friday. The winner is allowed to go back to his/her country of birth, whilst the loser has to spend the weekend in Hull
