I work a lot with the Mayan people, mostly Quintana Roo. I've been to a milpa and gone hunting in the dark with an old 72 year old man. It was an amazing experience. We slept out in the milpa that night, and the next morning, we heard the howler monkeys howling in the jungle. I've also seen some ruins that have only been seen by the locals. I'm glad to see more recognition for the Mayan people. Awesome vid!

I don't know the exact date when your trip was taken, so I have no idea if my answer would be remotely correct, but if it was around sometime late last month, the International Space Station passed by at a very slow speed (in terms of us being able to watch it for a bit,) north of the equator and could be seen for about five minutes. It does not pass by visibly very often, and the sun was setting on the American east coast at the time when it passed, which gave the station a highlighted glow refracting the sunlight as it came near the frame of the atmosphere. In space, the shuttle can travel across the world in minutes, so it is possible that that is what was caught on camera in the video. I don't know if that is what it was, especially since it would not be getting dark in Mexico necessarily as it appeared in the video at that time, but it is the best answer I can come up with since I live nearby the space station in Florida and we often go outside to watch the launches and updates like the shuttle. My only guess for the double cloud effect might be the shuttle interacting and traveling by the break in the O2 zone in the atmosphere, which with different interactions, has different effects and has resulted in things like a space jellyfish effect or fire on the outside of the structure though not unless within the atmosphere where that could be possible, so there is a lot of information lacking that I do not know if I am correct. I obviously am not as knowledgeable as many others on the topic and am certainly not the best to speculate, but I hope this is a valid answer to what might have been captured in this video! This is a really wonderful one, as they all are, and as always, I am so grateful that you share the joys of your adventures with us!!!

As someone who gets hiccups regularly, there is a pressure point at the base of your thumb that helps get rid of them (its on the fleshly part where it connects to the palm) you'll probably be able to feel your pulse when putting gentle pressure on the right spot. (I do, anyway) As long as I get to it within the first 3-5 hiccups, it will usually stop them in their tracks. I'll also hold my breath while pressing on it, if the hiccups are already loud and painful when they start, and it works for me probably 80% of the time.
I wish one day i can travel the world and see people's cultures, but i dont know if i will be free eating everything you are so brave. Thanks for sharing i enjoy your videos watching from South Africa ❤
Sastun, also known as bezoar stones or enteroliths, resemble rocks but are actually concretions of mineral salts combined with hair and fibers. Most are smooth and rounded, ranging from marble-sized to the size of an orange. They occasionally are found in the stomachs of cattle, horses, goats, llamas, camels and even elephants. But those who believed in the curative powers of madstones thought the most powerful stones came from the stomachs of deer, especially white deer . Sastun are form from calcium deposits, very similar to the way an oyster forms a pearl. Calcium clings to some foreign material such as hair, then more calcium is added in layers. Cut through a madstone’s middle and you’ll find concentric rings like rings in a tree. Animals in eastern states are more likely to contain madstones, due to higher calcium content in the soil.

Mike, the Mayan tribes have preserved the way they hunt and cook on the ground. An inheritance in which this technique is used in other federal entities of Mexico. I have eaten White Tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus). If it is distributed from BC to the Yucatan peninsula; which makes it a kind of Neartic affinity although it goes beyond the Mexican Neotropics. I continue with the intrigue of those shells that you showed on the granite block; They seem to me to date to the Cretaceous period. Although I would like to see how the slaughter process of the deer was in patrons. I imagine that more than 8 kilos was enough to be very tired in Mexico You say "bofeado".🤙

Some people have expressed concerns about the potential for the UAV to be used for surveillance or other purposes that could violate the privacy of Mexican citizens. However, Proteus Aircraft has said that the Proteus B2 is only used for peaceful purposes.

Deer hunting in the mayan forests is no joke. Here in Belize we hunt similarly..we use a pack of 9 dogs one being the leader with the best nose ...the rest trail track and follow. These dogs are trained to bring the deer to the hunters direction for the kill. The deers feet head and some organs are rewarded to the dogs. Im glad to see this culture and traditions well printed throughout the entire region. Very nice documentary...

hi fearless and far. would you be able to do a video based on the dagomba tribe in ghana (this is my tribe). i love the videos keep up the good work. also me and my dad enjoy watching you because we believe that modern civilisation do not take into account the roots of their day and age (such as my friends) keep up the grind and thank you for showing the love for all cultures you should be highly respected from all people. i hope you are well.
One of the best youtubers out there
Love your content, I have a question.....
What is your favorite exploration so far, and how do you start exploring the unknown?
I'm literally drooling watching this video, the food genuinely looks so good
Mike, the Mayan tribes have preserved the way they hunt and cook on the ground.
Always love your comments bro! 🐉
@@fearlessandfar I love your adventurs on your videos 🤙
Their bright smiles man adorable
The ufo sighting was actually crazy
It was a spacex rocket launch
Thank you for sharing their culture with us
It's a rocket launching into space! The 2nd dot is an ejected stage
May be it, I wonder if there are launch facilities in the area. The misty haze was a bit weird though.
@@raclark2730 that's distance for you. You can see a heavy rocket from hundreds of kilometers away
I think what you mean by The mist is just cone from the rocket exhaust. Look up any night SpaceX launch
@@luckyrashes Yeah think that's it too. There is a launch site in Guyana and of cause Florida, close enough to the area.
@@raclark2730 Except launches go almost always towards the east, never west, sometimes north or south. So neither site would work. Has to be SpaceX from Texas or a launch from Vandenberg.
for the love of adventure and culture, i always come back to check if there's a new upload, this channel never disappoints. i wish for a time when i would just travel the world as a career.
might be the UFO -The testing of the Proteus B2 in the Yucatan Peninsula has been controversial. Some people have expressed concerns about the potential for the UAV to be used for surveillance or other purposes that could violate the privacy of Mexican citizens. However, Proteus Aircraft has said that the Proteus B2 is only used for peaceful purposes.
Ur proly right. The dot the flies along looks likes at the same speed and distance of a tip of a wing
It was Allah for sure, he gave them the deer
Bro started petting the deer so it didnt feel left out💀
I’m pretty sure I’ve watched all your videos but for some reason I think this one was my favorite. I really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Deer balls 🔥
I wish we did not loose so many different cultures. Beautiful
So cool seeing videos about the Mayan people. I grew up and live in Belize so I've always been around them and they are pretty cool.
Don Juan would be very proud. Awesome hunt and beautiful culture.

Favorite channel
I absolutely love everything about this trip. What an adventure in every aspect! The music could of been a bit more native geared but its legit otherwise.
2:00 The way Luis is smiling the entire time made me so happy
His smile is so contagious!
Great Video, Greetings here from Philippines 🇵🇭
We miss you! Your content is the best!
Ask and ye shall receive.
When i was 18 i got a lot closer encounter than that. One that removes all doubt. Good luck brother.
Always amazing when you post bro!
