- According to Police, the man whose name is almost inseparable from military battles aimed at quelling unrest in Somalia- suddenly passed on from his home this morning.
Rest in peace General I was with u in Goloweyn lower shabbele Somalia in 2018
U comforted me when I lost my son.. U sent me an helicopter to airlift me to Mogadishu
U were just a lion indeed.....

Am so shaken by untimely demise of our great commander & warrior (Gen Paul Lokech) but am also happy that I was with him during that time of struggle and capture of Mogadishu city from the Al shabab terrorists,..this brings me great memories that we underwent as young soldiers at that time (2010 & 2011) May the Almighty God rest the souls of our fallen brothers in peace.
