Sturdy little power station! I agree that would be very nice to have for camping.

I have one of these connected full time in my kitchen backing up my refrigerator and stand up freezer. So far, it's been working great for that. It's compact and gives me some peace of mind.

Mine doesn't show hrs, the fan is noisy when being pushed over 600w, and has a glitch when plugged into solar it won't charge I need to shut if off completely and plug back in the solar then it will charge, other than that it has worked great use it everyday for 7months 12 hrs a day. 400w solar input is a little weak but the flash is big improvement from the last model and it is at a good price, totally recommend it. Great video

Good thing to consider in a blackout situation you don't need to power your fridge for 10 hours straight or even 6 hours straight . Most refrigerators/freezers will be able to keep your food cold even unplugged for a good 4 hours even 5 hours if you put them on the coldest setting if you can keep the door closed moistly. I would say you will only need to power your fridge for about 8 hours a day broken up into 2 4 hour intervals this will allow you to conserve energy as well as power other appliances when not powering your fridge.

I'd like to see you run a test with the extra battery. And see what you come up with.

Where I had the problem was with the extra battery it does not switch to the extra battery like they state in the manual also the charging does not go into sequence that they state. I like the unit, but the switch over with the extra battery was not good so I returned the extra battery. What was the power Queen and the power inverter to run 385 watts into the vtomam like it would do a solar because it's designed for 400 w input ( check the manual but I think it's 40 volt)
