How deep are you fishing that Neko?
I fish it 5 - 35 feet. It works great at all depths. Just give it time to fall down to the depth you want and shake it along👊🏼

I did once, heard the poisoned the whole thing to prevent people from eating the fish because they were super toxic.
That was like 5 years ago though. Maybe it’s changed.
