Thanks for reassuring me Richard. I bought these today in Canada at my local Walmart on Clearance for $49.88. I paid $5 for a Walmart 2 year warranty. I bought them for my wife because her earbuds that she runs with broke. I made a huge mistake. She runs with her old Ipod I bought her for Valentine's Day over 14 years ago. It takes an aux connection. They told me when I bought them, I cannot return them. So I'll figure out how to use them. I have music on my phone. I liked your review and I sure hope they don't suck. But, at least I have the warranty eh? Tomorrow, sadly, I go back to Walmart and get her some aux earbuds. I thought your video was well done, and you comforted me that I didn't just waste a bunch of money. Thank You! Cheers, John.
That's a shame that you weren't able to use the earbuds for their initial intended use, but they're a decent set of earbuds for the price so hopefully you can get some use out of them. Thanks for watching the review and for sharing your experience!
Great review! I bought it 2 months back and the mic quality was not that good and other person who was on the call couldn't ear properly.. I stopped using it then for calls. But most of the time I use only one bud which I always use to do even in wired headsets. So if I use 2 buds will it fix ? Then can I charge the case with 25watt Samsung charger ? Please advice brother.
These Soundcore Life Dot 2 earbuds are absolutely superb! I've had mine about a year now, and love them to bits. I don't see why these buds not connecting to the Soundcore app, or not having volume controls is a big deal. *ANY* deal in fact. Shouldn't your music player app(s) deal with any tweaking\adjustments i.e. EQ, boost etc? Mine does. Why would you want yet another app *on top* of your main music player app(s)? One the one hand, people are complaining at the lack of volume control on the buds; and on the other that it doesn't connect to the app - which, if it did, I assume would require you to take your phone out anyway(?) I record all my phone music as mp3's @ 320 kbps, and do the equalisation at the time of recording. This has enabled me to create *a single, custom, EQ setting* , on my music player(s), so I just press "play" and everything sounds exactly as I like, at the volume I like - regardless of genre.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and comments, for me the main advantage of being able to set the EQ within the Soundcore app, versus music player app, is that I would have the same EQ across all apps. Thanks for watching the review, if you found the video useful please consider subscribing!
@@RichardTech Thanks for your response. I must admit, I never thought about having the same EQ across all apps. VERY good point. I might give the app a spin ;-)
I bought a pair of these at the end of 2020. The right one stopped working and the left one won't link up. I don't use these for jogging or any type of strenuous activity. I wear them at my desk or on an airplane. I contacted Anker and they said they are out of warranty. I am attempting to escalate the claim, as I have another one of their products (wireless charger) that failed 2 months outside of warranty, and all they did was offer 15% off the price of a new charger. Why would I buy another charger that is going to fail outside of warranty. 🙄🙄
When i charge the case with earbuds placed inside , light on the case starts blinking red rapidly and observed earbuds stops charging and go in pairing mode ……… is it not possible to charge both at the same time ? Plz reply I bought them just 2 days ago…….
Great review just bought a pair I plugged it in and I noticed that case light doesn’t light up when charging but it does charge my earbuds is that normal ?
You can use a cloth to wipe them down if needed, but they should be able to dry from the air. The case can take up to 4 to 6 hours to fully charge. Thanks for watching the review, if you found the video useful please consider subscribing!

The only downside of them is they don't actually have 100 hour battery life.
