- A falling head permeability test was carried out on a 15 cm long sample of silty clay. The diameter of the sample and the stand pipe were 10.2 cm and 0.82 cm respectively. The water level in the stand pipe was observed to fall from 60 to 42 cm in 14 minutes. What will be the height of water level (in cm) in the stand pipe after 22 minutes ?

hi can you solve this problem please?
Water flows from top to bottom through a 900mm soil sample placed in a cylindrical tube as shown and the water
levels are maintained at the levels shown. Find the pore water pressure at A, assuming the soil is homogeneous.
if the diameter if the soil sample was 50mm and 1000ml of water was collected in 12,5 minutes,
determine the permeability. If the average drain diameter is 0.4mm, determine if the flow is laminar (Hint: Need to find
Reynolds number)
A falling head permeability test was carried out on a sample and the stand pipe were 9.8CMA and 0.75 cm respectively. Fall from 60 cm to 45 cm in 12 minutes. Determine
A)The coefficient of permeability of the soil in m/day

Hi sir, pls solve the problem sir .send me link plss sirr
1). In a field density test, the volume and wet weight of soil obtained are 785 cm' and 15.80 N respectively. If the water content is found to be 36%, determine the wet and dry unit weights of the soil. If the specific gravity of the soil grains is 2.6, compute the void ratio.
2). A clay sample containing natural moisture content weighs 3.462 N. The specific gravity of soil particles is 2.70. After oven drying, the soil weighs 2.036 N. If the displaced volume of the wet soil sample is 24.26 cm calculate the moisture content of the sample, (i) its void ratio, and (i) degree of saturation.

If you want accurate answer of it.. find bulk unit weight in N/cm3 . And put density of water as 0.01N/cm3 to calculate void ratio.
Questions -2.
Question have some mistake in volume. Put V=242.6 cm3. And solve it you can find all your answer.. solution is in below link.
