In the paper version, if you can put a pearl like bead on the inside of the curve, it can prevent it from getting squashed! And the bead would be visible from the sides!

Thank you for this video. I’ve been trying to make earrings from fabric and needed the way to make them stiff. I didn’t have leather but I tried an iron on patch and it works very well.

I came across your video when researching how to seal fabric onto a hard surface (painted eggs in my case). Was very intrigued by your process! Thank you so much for sharing. A brayer may be helpful when trying to smooth your fabric onto whatever material you are using and may want to try a rotary wheel to cut around your templates. Beautiful fabric and really cute earrings

They are leather backed and very durable. The ones that are paper backed should not get wet. That would destroy them.

I get the thin leather from Hobby Lobby. I buy fabric from so many places that I don’t remember where i picked that up from.
What is the square metal piece that clamps on to the material and holds it together and then you can attach the hook. Thanks
Hi, its called a ribbon clamp. It comes in several different sizes. This is one of tge smallest sizes. Let me know if you want a link to get it from amazon. I had to watch the video to figure out what you were seeing 😊

Those were made with cotton fabric. I do also use paper, i use all kinds, handmade, etc

They would look great in polymer clay as well, because you could customize the colors.

I tried but couldn’t figure it oyt. The measurements are 5 inches long and the mid point is 1 inch wide. I hope this helps.

I cut a piece of clear acrylic on my Glowforge laser cutter. You could cut it from cardboard and it should be good.

What is the thick of the cardstock?
Im not sure but it is very lightweight cardstock. I also like using 140 lb watercolor paper.

Why is there a blurry section
I’m going to redo that one. I used a card that I didn’t want showing.

I made a mistake by using a card that had identification on it and tried to correct it by blurribg it out. I have a different one that is better. Ill try to find the link.
