Opened TH-cam to waste time, and now I’m off to practice. Needed this to hit my feed and so glad it did

it's a '93 MIJ Fender JBG-70. just got it a couple of weeks ago, it's a beaut.
You quick with it ;)nice
NO WAYYYY YOURE SO FASTT thank you!!!
I popped my G string playing this song.
Im gonna just not think about the cost of buying a new set because because I won't need another for 30 years
30 years? must be flats :)
@@justsomebasslines or someone hasnt been practicing enough xD
Trying to learn this now and dang it’s freaking hard lol any tips I’ve only been playing for like 2.5 months
work up to it! practice it slowly a lot (the playback speed options on YT are good for this) and try to focus on one section at a time. biggest tip is don't push yourself too hard too fast, 2.5 months isn't that long, it'll naturally take time to get to where you can play all the stuff you want to, but keep at it and you'll get there :)
What program do you use to write out the tabs? Are you writing it out or do you plug into something and it interprets what you’re playing? Thanks. Great job.
thanks, i use Sibelius, which is just a standard notation software. i do it the old fashioned way, using my ears - i don't really pick up the bass until i've finished the transcription and i'm playing it through for the first time.
@@justsomebasslines super impressive.
@@justsomebasslines that's sick to know!
@@justsomebasslinesdoes that mean you have perfect pitch? I can’t transcribe without my bass to hear notes.
@@Logan_Adrian i don't, but i was clasically trained from a very young age, did lots and lots and LOTS of ear training and transcription classes, so i'd say i have very good relative pitch.
Guitarists, Is that an "Auto-Wha" on the lead guitar ? Thank you for the cool bass line JSB !
you got it! and no clue about guitar effects, sorry :)
@@justsomebasslines Thx, I'm hearing "Flanger" now. Fun song to play. Cheers
