How do you cut a metal tray and do designs? And you don't clean your gelli plate ? Is this acrylic paint what you use? 2nd print was better.why you put a plastic over the geli plate and another plastic?

HI, I'll try to answer all your questions
1 - I don't cut metal, it's all Styrofoam and foam sheets from the dollar store
2 - I don't always clean my plate, I don't mind that the leftover paint makes grunchy spots on the next print. If I don't want that, I will clean my plate with warm water and a soft rag, like an old cotton t'shirt.
3 - I use acrylic paint, second grade works better that cheap $1 paint.
4 - I put cling wrap on the plate first to prevent the plate from drying out (it will) and the second plastic (a sturdy cutting board) so that if something gets placed on it which I try NOT to do, it won't make dents in the plate.
I hope this helps? Have a great day!!
