I appreciate your clear instructions. We love the bold shapes and how accessible and inexpensive this project is. We featured it in our blog post on Stamping Projects. Thanks for contributing!

You can always glue it on the opposite side of the negative to keep them together
    Food for Thought 😊

Yes, I might try that. I don't really clean them so if it became too messy with stamps on both sides, I can go back to the two stamp method. Thanks for sharing! 😊

Thanks! I was only looking for technical info about how to build a stamp... how to attach a stiff back to the stamp... which glue to use, etc. I have perfectionist tendencies, so I was thinking I'd need to buy legit block printing materials and back them with masonite. But your video showed me it can be done in a less anal-retentive way and still be functional and beautiful. AND I have plenty of cardboard and the same foam you used, so I don't need to buy more supplies! I guess for a really detailed cut image, the traditional approach is necessary, but that's not what I plan to do anyway, so this is great for me. Also, to further combat my perfectionism (which doesn't always result in perfection, btw) your technique allows for more happy accidents and a certain amount of variation that I often feel is missing from my work. You inspired me to relax and just do the work. Thanks again!

I'm glad you found this helpful. I hope that it will lend itself to more messy play and less perfection. 😊

Wow! Great idea! How thick is the foam?

      I would say about 1/4" thick. 😊
