      80's was the best decade of my life. I was born in the 50's. 80's music was the best.
      You probably were here in the 80's but like most people, your conscious memory was erased in the re-birth process. Google "hypnotic past-life regression".

    This shows the difference between when he shot film mostly like a "normal" person at the time, facing outwards, vs facing the camera towards himself which was revolutionary at the time, especially with the way he held it so stable and the way he guided us through his experience.

    Such a cool time capsule to some of my old stomping grounds. The radio mentions getting some concert tickets at Horizon Records- I've bought music and seen live shows there, and it's still in business today! They passed the Greenville Spartanburg Airport where I worked in my late teens. And they mentioned Rockhill where I went to college, and grew up in Greenville. What a small world. I look forward to watching more of these videos.

    Nelson and Dick are pioneers. I was 13 years old when this was filmed and growing up in Greenville SC. I wasn’t quite ready yet, but watching this and knowing that I was only 7 miles north of that Amoco station where they gassed up at, I can’t help but dream that they would have scooped me up and taken me to Atlanta or NY. I made it to Atlanta in 1989 when the time was right and eventually to NY in 1999. Always a step behind these trail blazers who carved the way for me and in a sense formed a piece on my identity. Godspeed.

    Wow. That footage from ATL was awesome. It looks so different now. That interstate construction they showed at around 11:20 is what is now “spaghetti junction” at 85 and 285 on the north side.

      @SNGJackie ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You also can see how they were just starting to widen out the connector and 85 North too.

    This video deserves more views. I was born in 89, even back then in the 90's you went outside and play. no phones, no tablettes. Was a great time to be alive.

    So nostalgic to me. That 'Old Keg Party Shop' was right near where i lived and the gas station too where they stopped. The music brings back memories, as well. These years in the video were some of the best times of my life. I remember that ride from Greenville to Atlanta so well on 1-85 back then. Thanks for these videos..remarkable.
