Seeing that you shot a 49 on the front 9 that day you played a very tame Wilson. It being the end of summer, when you filmed this, if you would have played in Winter or Spring, you probably would have shot 60. Case in point, in early May your slice on 6 would have landed in rough so deep it would make a US Open rough look easy. That entire right side from Tee to Green the weeds average around two feet tall.
Haha! That area was already tough with the dry stuff, can't even imagine with tall rough! This was my first time playing there and would love another shot at it!
Ah man, nothing worse than the back and forth putts to lead up to a triple...Appreciate it John! Must say that random birdie and those pars were quite the pleasant surprise.
Dude your putting was pretty dang good. Yeah that was a little risky of a shot on 9 from behind the tree, but that stuff happens. Until that hole things were going okay anyway. In golf it only takes one bad shot to mess up a hole...but on the flip side, it only takes one good one too. I mean look at those long putts you made when you were just trying to lag up right. I really enjoy your videos...your commentary is very entertaining. Similar thoughts that a lot of golfer's have during a round. Hope you continue to make content and play good golf.
You've been my supporter since day 1, Alan! Always appreciate the encouragement and your tips! They've been helping out a ton! Yeah that hole #9 was quite something....but you'll see in the next back 9 video that I do put it behind me somewhat...
@@andy_golfs I enjoy the content Andy and it's fun and interesting watching a young golfer try and get better. Keep working on that over the top move. Watch some tips on shallowing the club on the downswing. It's an awkward feeling at first but once you get it, your swing will be on a much more consistent plane. Keep practicing brother.
Appreciate the love! Man, so true. Love it so much but so frustrating 90% of the time haha. I feel like I've kind of regressed lately because haven't been able to practice at the range much, but I'm motivated to get back on it. I feel a small breakthrough coming!
@@andy_golfs yeah I hear u man. I haven't practiced much either but I try to squeeze in 18 hole rounds though. I'm playing Wilson today at 7am. Hopefully u can get back at it, before u know it, you ll be shooting in the low 80s in no time. Hope to see another upload soon buddy
sweet birdie on hole 2!
Yeehaw!

That was a fun day.... 힘내! New 9 on the back 😄
Feels like forever ago...hahah
I’ve missed quite a few triple bogey putts so try not to sweat it. Nice birdie and two good pars.
