- Today I rode my brand new 2022 YZ250F for the first time at Learning To Fly Motocross! I'll have a ride impression video on the bike out soon, but as for now, sit back and enjoy this cracking POV footage!

Smooth riding. High gear with low rpms, and not on the rev limiter! How a 4 stroke should be ridden! And this coming from a 2 smoke guy lol!
Lugging a 250 as a faster rider B class and up is definitely not ideal and probably slower but lugging a 450 is more understandable
depends on the register, but yeah suits a track like this since its slipperyy
Exactly, people always blowing up their motors and wondering how, meanwhile they sit on the rev limiter like its the only throttle position. poor bikes
@@adamflynn7322 Any bike thats a 4 stroke that arent a 450 needs to be ridden some what on the limiter no matter what factory bike thats where the power tops off and you click another gear that low end lugging power wont cuz it like a 450
@@jannys_lyfe2055 450 is obviously better than 250 for raw power and speed, some tracks here dont allow 450 bikes though because they destroy the tracks way too quickly
Sick riding bro….. love all types of 2 wheel riding
i like this, just the sound of the bike and good video editing (color and quality wise) and a mint track
Awesome to hear man!
mint video lad 9K views bro!
nice laps mate
Thats some good looking dirt, all we get in my area is red clay if your not traveling
Nice riding style mate. Awesome bike
Cheers man!
That tracks looks beautiful and perfect to ride
I think it closed down recently
Yeah an awesome track but sadly sold to private owners not long after this video

nice video bro
Wow bro, you are riding really smooth
Hey millar sick riding, is this track still open
sweet bike man
Thanks man!
Great riding man! Do you feel that your front end is a touch bouncy? Curious what you end up doing to the suspension. So far I've come on 3 clicks on LS comp and in 2 click on the LS rebound which seems to have helped but it still seems a bit active for me. I'm so used to the dead feeling of WP and Showa Lol.
Yea haha, I really enjoy the active feeling in the front end - so far we’ve softened the LS Comp in the shock a little and gone a few clicks softer in the front! How are you finding it?
@@millermendham Better and better each time I get to ride man! Still trying to figure that front end feeling out but she's been great!
How did you learn to ride so fast?
Are these yz250fs any good? I'm gonna be coming off a 150r soon and I really want a Yz
What camera do you use and mount? Videos look amazing😮💨
GoPro Hero 10 - Chin Mount
Hey miller i'm just wodering what kind of gopro mount you use because i really need one like that
Hey man, it’s a chin mount! Dango designs gripper is what I use
When I hit jumps my back end occasionally drifts out and I land sideways. I've crashed twice now doing that. Only on jumps that you need to take at an angle. Just curious if you have any tips. I think I need to land on the throttle but idk
Yea, I’d definitely try landing with the throttle on but apart from that maybe softly accelerating off the lip rather than wide open.
@@millermendham Alright thanks man
Great video. What's the name of the track you're at?
Learn To Fly MX - It’s located near Oberon NSW

All the keyboard riders going to tell you "Thats not Deep Loam" or "Blah blah blah" - Great riding bro!
Haha, cheers man!

What’s the track called? Nice vid
Learning To Fly MX, it’s in Oberon NSW Aus
@@millermendham cheers man! Oh that’s only about 3 hours away from me! Might look into it 👌
Sadly it’s closed down a few months ago now. Sold to private owners
Why do valves sound like they’re ticking? Or is it just me??
thats how these 250's sound, they aIways have engine probIems and need vaIves adjusted or shimmed or done aII the time, ive tried muItipIe 250s from yamaha suzuki and kawasaki now and this piece of junk aIways ends up ticking and moving vaIves. get a 450 and enjoy dirt bikes or get a 125 2 stroke, 250s are a gateway for noob riders these are unreIiabIe things dont get them.
@@agentofenhanced2428 The bike in the video does indeed have some ticking noises, but thats just this bike beeing not 100% in spec... I got 85+ hours on my '18 YZ250F, advanced skill level, constantly in the upper revs, no noises at all, valve clearance did not change at all, not even 0.01mm. Still perfect compression. Never had any issues with the bike. I like all bikes, 125s, 250f, 450, but 125 2 strokes are definitly not more reliable than a 250f... After 85 hours of advanced riding on a 125 2 stroke, it wont have full power, thats for sure.
valves always tick. only worry about it when the ticking is very loud.
Is this man Australian.
Sure am!
i recomendd u learn to use your finger in brake
I though yz250 is 2 stroke
Deep loam?? That's as hardpack as hardpack gets. Might have been some grip from the moisture in the track but that ain't loam homie.
Richie loves his job at McDonald's so much he has it has profile picture
I don’t think you know what deep loam really is
