Taemin's dance is beautiful and his performance is strong but he doesn't need Sunmi there. Her presence (while strong as well) doesn't give much to the performance of Move at all. With just a storyline to connect Move and Gashina (two songs that could've been blended perfectly into a "criminal" kind of setting) the collab would have shined brightly. Instead we have two strong artists performing their own solo-songs with just an addition of another "dancer". The collaboration is lacklustre but it's not because of Taemin or Move nor is it because of Sunmi or Gashina. It's just the way the performance has been set up. ^^
I'm not even a Taemin stan but I thought this choreo was gorgeous. So sublime and subtle. A nice temporary change from all the in your face thrusting that's everywhere now lol.

Taemin is seriously so talented and such a unique dancer. The way he dances reminds me so much of Michael Jackson and I am a hardcore MJ fan so I would never use that comparison lightly. You can hear that Taemin punctuates his movements (2:46) with his breaths and sounds like "bang" or "bam", just like MJ used to do. MJ never used counts to keep in time with the music, he relied on feeling the movements and creating sound punctuations. Taemin is seriously such a high quality entertainer.
Taemin has said many times that he's a big MJ fan, that he's been a great dancing icon for him, so he that can be part of why he does his moves much like MJ.
