To those saying it's lacklustre. It's not meant to be explicit, it's sensual and subtle. Taemin worked really hard on the nuances of the hand movements and facial expressions. It oozes sex appeal rather than throwing it in your face. Feel it in your SOUL.
Also he ended MAMA with that Door performance anyway!
I think, when people say it's lacklustre, they point towards the collab in it's whole rather than Move itself. Taemin's dance is beautiful and his performance is strong but he doesn't need Sunmi there. Her presence (while strong as well) doesn't give much to the performance of Move at all. With just a storyline to connect Move and Gashina (two songs that could've been blended perfectly into a "criminal" kind of setting) the collab would have shined brightly. Instead we have two strong artists performing their own solo-songs with just an addition of another "dancer". The collaboration is lacklustre but it's not because of Taemin or Move nor is it because of Sunmi or Gashina. It's just the way the performance has been set up. ^^

mas kawi Couldn't agree with you more but Japanese choreographer and dancer Koharu Sugawara who teamed up with Taemin for "Move" deserve some credit as well for her artistic genius and creativity. Too bad for those who don't get it. Their loss.😍
아이돌문화를 그리 좋아하진 않지만 그런 것을 떠나 태민은 아티스트다. 음악과 춤을 자기화시키는 것이 탁월하다. 이 사람은 같은 노래로 정말 다양한 자기식 무대를 선보인다. 무대나 의상별 자연스럽게 자신의 해석에 따라 변화가 가능하다. 무대마다 스토리가 들리는 듯 하다. 멋지다. 오랜 아이돌 생활에서 쉽게 매너리즘에 빠져있는 타 연예인들과는 정말 다른 모습이다. 그냥 앨범낼 때마다 그 앨범에 충실할려고 하는 이는 있으나 태민은 그것과 별개로 자신에 대한 연구를 정말 열심히 한 것 같다. 무브를 유투브 알고리즘을 통해 2022에 접한 늦팬 올림.

Taemin is seriously so talented and such a unique dancer. The way he dances reminds me so much of Michael Jackson and I am a hardcore MJ fan so I would never use that comparison lightly. You can hear that Taemin punctuates his movements (2:46) with his breaths and sounds like "bang" or "bam", just like MJ used to do. MJ never used counts to keep in time with the music, he relied on feeling the movements and creating sound punctuations. Taemin is seriously such a high quality entertainer.

Please don't tell me I was the only one that noticed that Taemin's interaction with Sunmi in this is almost identical to the way Michael Jackson used to interact with his guests on stage. I don't know how to explain but I dedicated a lot of my life to watch MJ's performances lol. The feeling, the moves, the stares, everything is so so so similar. I've always had the feeling that Taemin had something very special and legendary like MJ in him that no one ( and I mean the singers that try hard to be like MJ such as Justin Timberlake, Usher and Chris Brown) has while still having his own unique style but I'm shook right now
