88k views, while there’s over 59% unemployed youth in RSA. This furthers the narrative that we are spending our time in the wrong places, then we complain. “there’s a difference between being certificated and educated”. Young youth aren’t seeking the right knowledge. Thank you VT for your continued commitment in helping the youth to change it’s mindset.

Thank you Vusi! I like what you said about our need as africans to connect. There are so many gifted people I know who have failed to reach their highest level of potential because they lack the capacity to broadcast their talent. they end up dying as local champions when they could have been global market movers!

I stumbled upon this speech by chance and I am blessed. The wisdom in you brother, the passion. I am inspired, fuelled up to carry on with my plan.
I'm in a process of building a foundation phase school at Kwandebele, where I stay. I don't have funding. My friends are laughing at my dream but remember my name. I will be in those history book.

Listening to you talk is like a revelation my brother. You are taking young Africans as a whole, in any field of life, to another level. “Levels” as you usually say haha. Oh boy! I always thought being a poet and aspiring to be a published author was just it but I now can say with confidence that there is more I can do with that same talent. ( i always thought it couldn’t be just publishing books, there must be more to it). I want my fellow Africans to read poetry and short stories , I am presently thinking of a way to bring it to their doorsteps in any form. Be it as a gift or a leisure read. Thanks very much sir. You are one in a million . May God bless you!

    Inspired!!!
    Aspiring!!!
As the youth of this Country we need to start working together, it's not that we don't have opportunities, it's not that we're not smart or have great ideas, or lack ambition or resources. It's that we're in so much competition with each other that we don't support or encourage each other. Its blinding. We're crippling ourselves.
    Times are different now.
Let's compete against the rest of the world and not each othere. In this way, our products and services will be "world class" the whole world will be our market place.
    Melesiyeke ukucabangela eduze!
Let's think and plan long term. Let's have visions and missions in place which we all ought to fight and strive for, yes there is Power in numbers there is Power in Unity, there is Power in great leadership. The story Vusi told is a testimony of this.
Unlike othere leaders and I qoute " let's think beyond our own Life Time"
    Thank you so much Vusi.
This is exactly what I needed to begin the year.

Great speech and I agree with most of what he said, the only thing I want to point out and that I think should change in the African narrative of history is that Africans were, are and will always be as inventive as their counterparts around the world, the only problem is African history is not as commonly told and shared as history from the rest of the world, so modern africans buy into those narratives of recent history without digging deep into themselves to understand that the human mind, will and inventiveness has always been the same, and that we too can do it. African slaves built the world, why can’t free Africans now build Africa 🤔
