Thats what I just did and got a brand new 2023 model.
I have the Watchmen with the Carbon fiber barrel 24". I changed the buttstock and the Triggertech AR 2 stage Diamond. Also the Phaze 5 Ambi bolt release. UTG Overbore bipod. Amazing gun!

I would have the charging handle on the left hand side and the ejection port on the right hand side, this way your shooting hand doesn't leave the pistol grip and trigger. One more thing that I would add to the rifle would be to have a match pistol grip that has an adjustable palm rest, with finger grooves similar to the one mounted on the HK PSG-1, a Knight's Armament M15 RAS quad rail, and a LaRue Tactical bipod adapter.
The original infantry was not mechanized infantry.
Therefore, all the protrusions are on the right side in consideration of carrying it on the back.

Best I can find elsewhere is 3-18 but 2.5 can do anything a red dot can, love that
Have you actually chronoed the loads you were using ? I have the same exact model but with different finsh. I haven't fired it yet. i threw a NF ATACR 7-35 with MOA-XT reticle on it. I just hope this 18" barrel isn't too short for 1000y and up.
That probably not trigger creep, its a two stage trigger.

I got mine and love it but I think I made a mistake on the gas setting with the bullet size. I thought setting 3 was for lighter bullets but is actually setting 4. I'm going to try that first because it wasn't auto feeding the rounds from the magazine but since I went back and checked that could be it. Without checking in a while I got them mixed up. I hope that'll fix it because I do like this rifle a lot. Nemo is a great company to with great people there. I've seen nothing but great things on this rifle so maybe it's just a error and simple fix on my part.
Interesting. I wish I knew more personally to help you out! Yeah mine hasn’t had any issues and I’ve put a few hundred rounds down range now. I haven’t messed with the gas block yet though. Still waiting on the 30cal suppressor to show up first!
The gas setting has nothing to do with the the projectile size ( I think you meant weight). If you want to suppress your rifle, you have to run a lot less gas so you turn it down because suppressors increase pressure. If your rifle isn't supressed and not feeding the next round, (or not locking back on an empty mag) you're not running enough gas. Another click or two should solve that problem. If it doesn't, there is something else going on.

I just shot mine, setting “4” IE the 4 dots. That’s wide open.
I forgot to experiment with 3 dot and maybe 2, basically going until it stops cycling.
Also try an AR10 SpringCo to really dial it

Hi, I have the latest generation of this, 2023 production. 18” Bartelin barrel.
I heard it only shoots 190 grain FGMM well?
Any other recommendations for dudes who don’t reload?
Also, curious what muzzle velocity we get bc we lose a lot w/ only 18”
Follow up, all I could find locally is 180 grain Federal Blue box (non-bonded). It was a semi-wide group.
Forgot my Allen key to zero my scope so didn’t stay long. I’ll be going back this weekend, would love to hear feedback from other owners on all the rounds that do well

Im sorry man I dont. That table is an outdoor shooting table made from concrete at a shooting range. I could try and measure it next time I’m out there.

@pewpewdingers, Does the brass come out undamaged in the gen 3? Someone else was saying their gen 1 dented the brass and prevented reloading on his rig. Yours?

Question I just ordered the Omen recon lite, can a 1-10x eotech vudu take that rifle? I am worried that it simply will destroy that optic.
You should be fine, the recoil system is amazing and very soft compared to a bolt action chambered in 300 win mag. Don’t sue me if I’m wrong 😂 but you should be totally fine.

@KEV_101 I love it. I've had some fun with it and gotten to share it with some friends and family, and it's great watching them love it as much as I do. This is a incredible rifle and setup with this scope and all. It's definitely something that'll be taken care of and around forever. This rifle has a permanent home and not going anywhere. This is pretty much a do all rifle for hunting or target shooting/fun. I hope you love yours as much as I do mine. I will tell you that the auto cycling if you're shooting unsupressed works best on the recon on gas setting 4.
