How is it holding up? I am looking to swap from factory amplified non bose rsne to this. Is it plug and play? Just plug into the factory fakra connector?
Great Video! Went ahead and bought myself the same unit. loving it so far. Had one question hope you could help with. I have wifi hotspot available on my phone but when i try to connect my radio to it, it'll connect but immediately disconnect could this be due to the Zlink app auto connecting through bluetooth on startup? and if so you know a way around that?
That’s probably it . I don’t think you can the wireless carplay and hotspot working at same time . You can try the wired carplay
Hi Ish, thanks for a great video! I have one question as I’m thinking of upgrading my oem bose system with android headunit. Will the factory TPMS (tire pressure monitor system) work through the steering control/interface? Or will I lose it after upgrading the headunit?
Tpms system is independent of headunit . If you get a flat you will still get display on dashboard as before . You can get additional tpms system ( android) that can be more accurate tyre pressure monitor system . That can be connected via usb to unit and a app installed . You will need to get the tpms sensors installed though as they go where the value is

Sorry I didn’t get the first camera . But my understanding it’s usb. So you will need get it from engine bay into dash . And just connect up

On the link to Aliexpress there's 13 model options. Having a hard time distinguishing what's included with each, can you help clarify what the higher end models include that the lower end units don't - I can tell there's a difference in memory and what looks like wifi connectivity but not sure what else. Do any of the models come with rear cam?
They have updated the models a little . I would go for the second from last . It’s a px6 with dsp and wireless carplay and wired android auto . The last option is new and has dvr capability for recording eg Dashcam but I would get a stand-alone device for that . if you want the birds eye or panaramic reversing option it’s the last . Not sure about this option as they didn’t have it when I ordered and you have to buy the cam also . I used a simple reverse cam . Which I had on my old px3 system. Installing a reverse cam is a slighty involved process to get cam wiring to head unit and wiring to relay of rear light ( look up Audi rear cam installs ) . The unit does have option to wire directly to head unit but I didn’t use that option so can’t comment .
When you use the left steering wheel scroller can you set this to scroll through your saved radio presets or does it still just scroll through the whole FM radio frequency like my stock Audi symphony radio does?

Oh and does it auto boot to carplay after shutting off and getting back in the car?

No it is only carplay wireless . Have asked supplier but not many of the units do for some reason

How did reverse camera work? I have one with just power and gnd with yellow video (wifi camera) at the receiver end. But no matter what I did the head unit didn’t care? I tried the specific loom for the camera but it didn’t power up the receiver. The only way I could get it to work was to put the camera to some other power source and the input to av1 and manually chose the video source. I have a manual, so assume the car won’t tell the hu when its in reverse? Not sure. Thanks.
If I remember correctly the car when put in reverse would auto switch into reverse camera setting . Now when I didn’t have a camera it would just show a blank screen with an x . This is therefore controlled by canbus telling the unit is reverse ans the unit recognising and changing input to reverse camera video input . So that tells me from your setup that you need to make sure canbus is connected properly and more likely the option for reserve camera is off in your setting . So I would check android setting menu there should be a car section in there and also the secret menu . To make sure this option is on. There is no auto detection of camera you need set it in car stereo setting .
Damn wish I seen this video before I bought a JVC unit. I’m thinking of swapping for this one, but I’m not too clued up on the installation of it. Can you tell me if all the wiring in your video comes with the system or do you have to buy it separately?
No it all comes with unit . It’s pretty plug and play . If you follow video . Only additions are a mic extention to get over head center console and USB port extentions to make it look neater

1) dab is optional extra . Also in video I mention dab aerial but what I meant was the gps antenna which can be hidden easily in dash I put mine above the glovebox inside . 2) no inbuilt mic they provide a mic but you will need extension for same placement as well . 3) not sure the buttons on side dim. They aren’t that distracting

Hi, thanks for the great video, I’ve connected all mine, able to connect via Bluetooth and car play, however when I play music through car play there is no sound?, I know it’s connected correctly as I can hear sound through Fm radio, any suggestions how to fix this?
Did you make the carplay the nav option in setting . If so don’t do that. Also try wired and another phone to see if it’s actual app
Does this have video in motion? So i can play a video within an app like netflix whilst driving?
Side question: will all aftermarket head units work with my bose TT? Via the rca method you mentioned? Or do i need a specific cable provided by other sellers etc.
Video in motion works . Not sure about other units .
Just to let you know, you can assign the steering wheel keys to any function you like, using the standard steering wheel app. In factory settings, other, steering wheel keys assign....change it to CAN KEYS. Save end exit factory settings. Then go to the steering wheel app, reset all the settings, and then assign them all from scratch. You can set whatever you want :)
My biggest complaint is that I can’t customise app on mode switch on steering wheel . I want the seller to try fix this but letting people customise which apps ok carasol
@@ishanperusinghe Ah, well you can if you use an app called Mtcdtools. You can literally program anything to any button (and I mean anything, not just launching an app, but any system process lol). The app ranges from simple to very complicated, but setting up a mode button is one of the simple tasks. Google the app, and there's lots of info on how to use it :)
@@JustUsFlyers but don’t you need a custom rom . I put a custom rom on my old px3 and had the functionality via mtc services but there were bugs and issues with rom. If I remember correctly you need the xposed framework installed
@@ishanperusinghe Nope, no custom rom required. My px5 unit is bog standard, and the controls work perfectly. The only thing I've just realised is yours is px6, so I'm not sure if mtcdtools works on a px6. You'd have to check.
@@ishanperusinghe - i also hate that the aftermarket steering wheel controllers are alot more powerful then mapping the factory steering wheel controls. are ALL your steering wheel controls working? i am missing 2 buttons - 997 porsche. seems to be a canBus error as there is nothing coming out of the logCan readout.

The second harness should either attach to other 1st harness or canbus

After trying to install the screen yesterday I came across 2 problems.
1. The screen is always on and doesn't shut off after turning off the car
2. the screen doesn't seem to lock itself in the frame of the old radio and the screen wants to pop out of the frame.

Seems like your 12 v ignition live is not correct . You might have also connect the ted permanent live connection which is only for testing . Might be a red wire on its own on harness with a black connector in middle. Disconnect that . If that’s not your issue you need a multimeter and check ignition live wire coming from car to stereo . I can work out pin from top of radio where it should have colour and cable location on harness

verry nice and video. i have a few questions. are all the bose speakers working? including the front door mid low range drivers and the sub in the left back pannel? because with mine only the high range speakers are working. i also see no bose connection on your main wiring loom: when yo show the main wiring loom on 14:03 there should bee a 8 pin connector for the bose connection with the speakers i mentioned earlyer. my audi also has the bose and i am missing this connector aswell.

Niet kopen Dion, het is oprecht een laag kwaliteit stereo. De verkoper is totaal niet behulpzaam. Mijn unit werkt voor geen meter en verkoper weigert verder te helpen. Carplay werkt niet elke keer, je moet maar geluk hebben.

@@BMXER5110 aah dat is fijn! Voornaamste probleem is een constante piep die te horen is, zodra de unit aan gaat. Daarnaast verbindt carplay maar 50% van de keren via draadloos bluetooth.

I will have to check . I don’t think it does . The last icon on left on the amplifier menu is just the speaker fades . Eg front, back . I will have a check and get back on this thread . If it’s another menu let me know

Bothering me is the audio in having only four channels, if you adjust the fader you will notice only the front speakers work, rear speakers are not working at all hence loss of bass. This is the same on most aftermarket head units. I’ve been trying to find a way to get the rear speakers isolated so I can connect them but the wiring is difficult to discern
I haven’t noticed . Have you tried adjusting the time adjustment (TA) In the advanced setting . It’s the digital time alignment allows you to digitally delay the closest speakers so that every speaker reaches your ears at the same timeHave a google of the concept and then try adjusting . But the TT is also small cabin so I haven’t faded to front
@@ishanperusinghe i’ll try that but i believe you have to set to to FL or FR bias to activate TA. From research it seems the coupe (bose) only has front audio channel anyway, the rear speakers are only fillers unlike the roadster which has a sub woofer fitted.

Did you have to modify the wiring for BOSE? I have the same system but for some reason my unit won'e ever Shut Down, it'll only Sleep. I've held the power button and seen the text 'Shutting Down' but when I switch back on it immediately Boots Up and displays whatever app I was last on... Thanks
The canbus is what turns off unit . Mine shuts down fine
@@ishanperusinghe it’s ok, I’ve found the option in the settings - mine was set to AUTO SLEEP rather than a timed shutdown 😉
Once the unit goes into place, is it hard to undo it? I am worried that the plastic clips may break easily.
Actually much easier than taking out factory unit or my old px3 . The clips have a little give and if you give it a tug from the bottom is will come out no problem. Not good for getting stolen but easy if you want to get out to do somthing

@@scottcree543 All streeing wheel remote functions work . See comments below and canbus came in box to do this. you can do anything your tablet does so videos on a usb will play . when in Carplay mode. It does not allow video playing . but thats by design by apple

you can pretty much do + watch anything. youtube, vlc viewer, netflix, disney+, amazon prime ... etc etc. i stopped using carPlay and use it in its native android mode. it is MUCH more powerful and even waze/spotify in native android mode has better graphics / options vs carplay.
Ish does the rear camera not come on automatically then when you go into reverse? Also if you wanted to hook up a conventional amp for a sub, would you just use the 2nd set of 4RCAs you show at the start for the rear out?
It’s does but as mentioned in the video I had a relay setup from old px3 system for switching so just used that. But I’m sure the sterero does reverse switching via canbus . For the second set of RCA’s I can’t see why you can’t add the amp . There is defo an rca for sub out .
@@ishanperusinghe for a typical amp for a sub it usually expects a dual (L/R) RCA right, I think just for an active one a single wire would do. I know the sub and amp I want so need dual RCA and was hoping to not have to splice into anything at risk of a) messing it up, b) reducing input signal to the BOSE amp! I was just wondering if the 2nd set of RCAs were live and transmitting but I'll be able to test it I guess when it arrives and worst case, take feeds off the back! Thanks for all your info and on the TTforum! There's apparently an aliexpress sale in 2 days, now just waiting for that to drop to put in an order!! if I could see a pic of how you mounted your rearview cam that'd be amazing.
@@sumeetbains3301 I don’t this there is a a second set of rca for another amp if you have Bose . The rca I show you in the unboxing later all just connect to each other if that makes sense
I got one it's great does your interior light still come on when u open driver's door mine used to work before I installed the radio lol

I think they are refreshing the models with Qualcomm processes which will be better . But mine was px6 4gb dsp with carplay inbuilt. ( second to last option on page )

If it was working before and not now . Try a factory reset . If it’s first time and you have. Bose make sure you connect all the RCA’s ( phono ) together on harness as in video .

How did you connect the 32 pin Audi amplifier to the new unit. I’m not getting any sound to the new unit and I figure that would be the reason why.
You the main Audi TT harness , it was just plug an play . Check the video and see if the pin structure matches if u need pic I can post some from my old android head unit harness which should be the same . Did you also connect the red and white RCA’s together see video also . You have rca coming out android harness that connect to another set of rca on the android harness. I hold the whole harness up at one point when in the car .
@@ishanperusinghe I followed the detailed video, which was super helpful btw. I also made sure to read through the comments before asking this question. For some reason my audio is not coming out with the rca connected. I didn't know if the reason was due to not using the 32 pin Audi Amp Connector that came off the factory radio. Thanks for the quick reply. Im working on the radio as we speak.

I have the default launcher but just updated the wallpaper . You can download different launchers off play store . There are some more oem looking ones . Have a look ok TT forum thread some people have posted on there
The sound is loud and you notice better quality compared to the original?
I would say yes because of the DSP ( very clear sound ) combined with Bose . I had a px3 system for a while before and it was noticeably bad and haven’t had the original concert radio in for a while . So at least it’s equal . But I would say better . another person on TT forum also mention it was better than stock . You also have much more control over EQ . I listen to hip hop a lot so base is important and the unit delivers . I have also option to add a sub eg self powered one under seat if I want also which is cool.

Nope it’s plug and play as in video . But please make sure it’s compatible with seller. If you have issue will try help on this thread or the one I set up on TT forum . Just for reference my TT was a coupe with Bose

There’s no inbuilt mic only external one that comes in box . You can adjust this gain on mic to get it right

@@samunemeth6155 no you can’t use the factory one . You will need to replace with android stereo one . You can buy other versions from eBay or Amazon
Finally it has arrived. I had to set canbus in factory settings, because it was inactive, no mapping was set.. Wheel controlls work well. Only con, that wrong antenna cable was sent, I need to get a proper one.
Sadly the bose apm not working, no bass from behind. I hope the seller will resolve this. And the HU slides down, it doesnt stay in place..

Why is it called an android system? Does that mean you can’t use it for iPhone? My current setup is default system,, but it’s very annoying that none of the songs can shuffle on my Spotify playlist and they come up as a stupid looking little folder with BT name. I have a small device attached in the glovebox. Can you let me know whether you can change song, shuffle, accept calls and make calls, adjust volume with this system? Is the sound quality better? TIA
The operating system of the stereo is android . I have a iPhone and mentioned in video I use the carplay ( which is basicly a mirror of phone ) and I can control the whole phone including Spotify changing tracks etc via the screen and steering controls . Answering calls making call. Have a look at a few carplay tutorials for functionality. You will have all of that via the stereo . Also you can the stereo as a standalone system . Which is comparable to what you can do on android tablet

No issues with freezing and crashing on main android unit . Occasionally on wireless carplay you get a freeze here and there . Not on wired . The canbus converter ( red box ) comes with unit . So all steering wheel buttons are mapped . Only thing you may want to buy is new Mic if your not happy with one provided and powered dab aerial if you get that option .
@@ishanperusinghe thanks for getting back to me ! I will be also doing the iPhone plug in ashtray dock mod. So it will always be hardwired and charging. I mainly want the unit to display google maps and Spotify. Hope I can scroll through Spotify list with steering control. And also look up destination on phone map as it’s easier to type on phone. Then plug in to dock and it will display map on the unit. Also u mentioned the screen quality is good yeah like an iPad?
@@huyaha cool . One thing to note the phone won’t charge on usb A/B but you won’t lose charge either . It stays at the same level . This is a limitation with usb 2.0 . There is a dedicated usb for charging but it’s only for Charging not for carplay or usb data transfer

Hey man, I got the unit but my steering controls don't work, how did you configure them?
you connected the canbus up right. ( red box ) then if its not working go into hidden menu as in video and set the canbus to same as mine in video. The stereo needs to know which protocal to use it should be set out the factory. If this doesnt work the canbus convertor may be faulty
@@ishanperusinghe if using oem multifunction steering wheel - steering wheel has too set to CANBUS in secret factory menu (pw - 126). if using aftermarket MF functions ... set the same setting to SWC. in both cases u still need to use the SET WHEEL KEY APP - to map the button functions accordingly.
Good video, but you don‘t show how you put the radio in. I bought the unit, but it doesn‘t fit. No idea how you were able to install it. One of the clips already broke. Really frustrating
It’s pretty straight forward it should just push into gap . No cage required. The clips on facia just clip into diverts on either side
Hello, when ordering this unit i have to select a colour (variation). I have the PX6 wireless carplay, PX6 DSP WI carplay, PX6 DSP carplay ADAS, PX6 DSP and just the PX6 to choose from, do you perhaps know the difference between these 5/ do you know which is the one you have. Thanks in advance
Your going to need to speak with manufacturer to be sure . But Believe it’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) eg lane guidance and traffic sign recognition. But this would require a front camera and using another app . Not CarPlay or android auto as i don’t think they support . This option wasn’t there when I purchased and looks new advance in android stereos . You Would need to do some more research on it but the option just below adas should suffice if you want same as mine . Main things are the DSP ram and fast processor for me

I’ve encounterd a couple issues, hopefully you can help me. The wireless carplay option doesn’t work 60-70% of the time. Do you know what this problem could be? The second issue is that there’s a high pitched peep noise, which comes up especially when the volume is zero and in between songs.

Make sure the zlink app is up to date . You will need to google this . Not sure about the high pitch sound . Sounds like cable interference of a ground loop issue . The older units had this issue . But my unit doesn’t seem to have it . You can try a ground loop isolated to try get of sound . Not sure it will work . The isolator goes between rca .** make sure you backup zlink app before doing any updates ** please also post back finding for others

Wanted to give a small update! The Z-link is up to date, so that shouldnt cause the problem of the carplay-bluetooth connectivity. I tried your instructions for the high-pitch noise, but no solution. Im really fed up with this unit and messaged the seller on Aliexpress. He wanted some proof and I sent it, but now waiting over 5 days for a reply. He saw my message, but still ignoring. I need to save money again for months to buy a new unit, really shit situation.

@@ishanperusinghe its all the time present. When turning on, it starts directly. The only time you wont hear it, is if you put the music very loud. In between songs, its also present. How can I send you a video?

I will try but it’s not that difficult. I have shown microphone placement . Only thing I forgot was GPS antenna . It’s quite easy to install . Once the original radio is out you can place antenna near top of dash by putting your hand in . Just make sure it’s not under any metal

If you install app there is contact seller option . Make sure you pay for no customs charge option which means adding a separate product to cart

When using wireless CarPlay do you get a noticeable audio delay for phone calls?

@@ishanperusinghe I’ve got a android unit in my tt already and use a wireless CarPlay dongle , works great except on phone calls. because there’s about 2 second delay until you hear the audio from the caller you end up talking over each other. Noticed this unit uses zlink and wondered if it was the same.
@@heffer79 I have it in two cars . My other car uses a Carlinkit dongle which is very good as they update the firmware on the dongle and do bug fixes all the time . Is yours inbuilt or dongle ? You may need to loook into getting the firmware and apk updated
@@ishanperusinghe I’ve got the dongle and it’s Carlinkit one with the auto kit software and I get a delay it is a very early version of the dongle though. I’ve just got another one made by the people who make zlink and they call it zbox. sadly though you can’t map steering wheel controls like you can in autokit. In zbox volume and next previous work. But the voice / Siri button doesn’t. What I did with autokit was map the steering voice button to a random media button and then in autokit you can map it to Siri. Can you map steering wheel keys in the zlink software? I can’t find anything online screenshot wise of the zlink app. Many thanks.
@@heffer79 the Carlinkit is very good dongle . Have you updated the firmware and apk . It’s the in the bottom of setting menu . Make sure your connected to internet . The zbox does let you map but only if you have analog steering where controls . Eg key 1 and 2 that work on resistance . The Audi TT is canbus / digital controlled so you cant map either zlink or Carlinkit because of this

No it can’t it’s come with own mic and GPS. It can’t integrate with oem options

@@Kevin-qj2qh no harness was left . In my car there was only one Audi harness I needed to connect to. The rest of the stereo needs to attached together as seen in video first eg rca connected up etc before attaching to Audi oem harness

Yeah mine started to do it also . I put some thin cardboard eg like car park card Pieces between clips and car body for more friction .
I used a 23mm thick “brick” shaped wooden piece. I fixed it in place with two sided tape, and placed under the Din sized “body” attaching one side to the back of screen, one side to the bottom of the din body.

Can you hook up a birds eye camera set up on this unit?
You will need to do it via av in . But if it’s a standalone unit that does the birds eye and reverse cam together and sends output to single yellow rca you can use the existing reverse camera connection in theory. The unit just pushes in . no cage or keys required to remove . For airbag As mentioned in the video there is no room for air bag light so remove from factory stereo connect up , tape up and put inside . It’s important you make sure the airbag light is connected before turning on ignition. If not you will get airbag light and won’t be able to get rid off it unless you got vagcom.

@@ishanperusinghe The can bus module is made for Audi A3/A4/TT, it's the same for these three vehicles. But one needs to pick up the correct name of the module in the factory settings of the head unit in a list as long as your arm. Its not "Audi". It's Raise, Hiworld, Xinbas, Binary, Simple Soft… and many more in the list

@@ishanperusinghe I tried to register Simple Soft and Luzhang. The weird thing on my unit is it powers up with a simple harness, but doesn't with the original harness that has the canbus box + the 4G sim+RCA harness. My can bus box may be defective.

You red can bus thing is not set correctly in factory setting ( secret menu ) in video . Try different option till it works match the one selected in my video

Did you connect all the rca to each other as in video . It’s a bit weird but you have to connect the two harnesses they give together . Using the 4 rcas . They will be labelled front left in , front left out etc etc . If you still having issues get into he TTForum and post on thread there with photos . Link is in comments somewhere
Great video bro....I got a similar head unit from lenovo...the only issue that I have is the head units frame....it doesn't fit at all...I had to use sponge foam to make it steady...did you experience something like that ?
Fitment was ok but the clips meant it kept sliding down I used the foam in box to go under the unit inside to keep it from sliding down

Just received mine today, but mine looks incomplete. The LCD isn’t attached to the plastic panel and the screws are not in the box. I saw that yours came attached to the panel with screws inside. Do you know how to fix this problem? Or with wich screws?

hi friend, because of the transportation safety issue, some plastic shells are separated from the host. The screws are in the package. Just use a screwdriver to lock it. If you don’t understand, you can contact us on AliExpress. I will give you an guide video

Hi, great video!!! Actually, I purchased the unit after I saw your video. I installed the unit yesterday and everything seems to work ok, except I have no sound!
My TT doesn’t have the Bose system, so there’s no RCA Jacks to connect, just the factory wiring harness. 🙁
The rca are only apart of the android stereo Harness. It’s not part of Bose . Connect them together as in video .. The main big harness connection to TT is where the sound comes from

I don’t think there is a new mcu available . What issue you having maybe we should create a features / bug list for them to fix on google docs . And I can take it to them . I’ve got them a lot of sales because of the vid for free so it’s the least they can do .

I'm having a weird issue tha I use TH-cam on the background and listening to music all goes well..stop the car and the next time I start the car I have no sound from TH-cam or Spotify. Only radio is working. If I put on radio for 5 minutes and comeback they start to work but it's weird, don't you think? Plus I was asking because android is well known for bugs and some fixed or additional features would be welcomed and would make people feel they're money was well invested, like phones. We appreciate updates and new features. Even android auto new features would be nice or fix that carousel option and make it customized so we don't get distracted. Just a suggestion.

Today I just realized I could use the Audi GPS on the roof instead of that cheap one they give us with just buying a cable that goes to the female connector of the GPS, just like those 2 you connect for FM Arial and you powered with the blue wire.

Hi, has anyone fitted this in place of non-bose rsne? I have factory navigation plus unit, and the audio quality and volume is great, I would hate for it to degrade when changing. Also can you activate siri on carplay via then wheel controls?
I got the option with dsp ( digital sound processing ) and it sounds fantastic I would say better than factory if not only slightly . You can program siri ( another commenter said below ) carplay controls work with factory steering controls I’m able to change track etc from steering wheel see video . I can’t comment about non Bose . Others on this thread and TT forum have done so

Have you plugged in canbus . If you have and it’s still not working if you go into secret menu as shown in video . Make sure the canbus chosen is same as in video . These units are generic and support many cars they ship the unit and select the car it’s going into . If this doesn’t work then you canbus might be faulty and you will need to contact seller

I’m finding the zlink unstable this is not manufacturing fault but the app. I would recommend getting without carplay integrated and get a wireless Carlinkit dongle for android

** correction - I keep referring to the dab aerial as GPS . It’s not the same thing . The GPS aerial ( comes with unit ) needs to be installed separately in dash somewhere . Also post your question for thing I haven’t covered and I will try do a follow up video for those questions ... if you purchase please post back you review for others

@@VB-ex5nw I can’t remember of hand if there is a remote wire . But you could use camera power or aerial power ( blue wire I think ). Or message seller and ask or test the wires wires with a volt meter . You only need one that will give 12v when car is on . Switched live

Did you need a mounting kit ?
No mounting kit or cage required it clips in using plastic clips attached to face . What I haven’t noticed over time the clips become a bit lose and the stereo drops down . I used some card board to place between clip and notch to increase friction. Bit janky but works
@@ishanperusinghe Lol, I placed an old black sock under the head unit to hold it up. Terrible design. The road vibration in addition to those plastic clips being next to the damn heat sink makes the prospect awful.
I'm on my third bracket. In terms of audio the factory analog radio sounds better but the DSP with a few tweaks I imagine would do for most.

If they improve the design of their mounting hardware I may consider a 4th one. I'll make a TH-cam video once I'm near the car again to show how I rigged it

You can try this th-cam.com/video/fWP2VM76bP8/w-d-xo.html but it’s not somthing I have encountered . This sounds like an mcu issue . If the above doesn’t work I would go into car setting menu at end of video and match you setting to mine . You may need to calibrate screen again

@@ishanperusinghe I was able to recalibrate the touchscreen. But now I don't have the left panel working. It is possible to redefine the keys and I saw it this morning but when I tried again they were missing. I reset the unit a few times while trying to get back to factory mode and I realized and doesn't completely goes back to factory mode, as my Audi logo was still there when the unit starts. A hard reset should bring back the panel back again I just don't know how and if it's possible to do it.
