Well done John, lovely vid plenty fish although only small.Next time try a small red worm or a piece of one maybe catch a bream or two.Until then keep the vids coming mate so enjoyable.🪱🪱
Nicely put together upload John. With it being a village pond and seeing the odd ducks on it, does bread not work. All this time in lock down, I have seen more and more family’s out feed, to the point it’s not all being eaten and at time the odd fish coming up and having there fill. 👍👏👏
Hi Dave, The pond has lots of walkers and people feeding the ducks so you would think it would work but I and others have tried and it just doesn't - on the pole line at least. Maybe it's time for a rethink and if the better fish wont come close, then bomb and bread at distance could be an option, the trouble is that in a match you would be crossing other swims so there's really only a couple of swims you can go long to the island on.
I have no idea Phil but there's plenty of good fish in the pond, roach, Rudd, bream, ide, crucians, tench, and carp but they just haven't been showing since an additional stock was introduced in March. It's bizarre.
Hi John , used to fish that pond starting nearly 60 yrs ago when it had some fantastic roach , also fished at that time chappies and hoggies , the roach fishing at that time was brilliant, John really enjoy your channel and love your attention to detail , I still have all my fishing tackle but where I live in the med sadly no coarse fishing .
Thanks Michael, the pond has been out of sorts recently, there's a massive head of fish in but the better ones are very elusive, particularly in winter. It's a shame you've not got any coarse fishing nearby, I just hope the weather is good😎
Another decent catch John winter fishing is hit and miss so you've done yourself proud by sticking to the task in hand. Personally I'd just like to say a big thank you for all your hard work bringing your vlogs to us I enjoy every one I hope you and your family have a merry Xmas and a happy new year.
Yet another gud day for you John just a shame about the bloodworm Anyway all the best to you and the family bud 👍👍 Mad week for me finally get the keys 😉😉😉
Thanks Daz, when you get settled in the new gaff and find all the best spots on the Tees, give me a shout, I'll come and have a dabble with you. 👍 Merry Fishmas to you and yours 🎣😉
Another cracking video John..Lots of info and tips.Bloodworm and Joker were in a poor state, yet still a great attractor and on its day deadly' Have a great Xmas and a happy new year John ..always love the videos keep them coming Best wishes Gary.
No, I'm still using my Daiwa but I'm getting close to needing a new one which will more than likely be a Tournament X, just need to get my hands on a few others before making a final decision.
Mainly because it's banned for one reason or another, but there are some places where it's fished with some regularity, it's deadly on the Stainforth & Keadby.
That is a ton of work for those little guys my hats off to you tiny tim!
Thanks Joey, I agree it is a lot of prep to get the groundbait etc right but its essential.

Have a great Xmas and a happy new year John ..always love the videos keep them coming Best wishes Gary.
Thanks Gary, yes they were past their best no thanks to our wonderful Royal Mail letting me down. Merry Xmas mate.
Another good video John, nice to get a few bites. Last year I tried the bloodworm and joker and found big red maggot was better than bloodworm.
Yes it does largely depend on the venue, I'm not sure I'd bother with it again here but wanted to give it a go none the less.
It’s always worth giving caster a go on the hook over joker and groundbait
I'll be sure to give that a go next time I fish it, thanks Jim 👍
Hi John, do you know where you can get bloodworm and joker? I live in the south and it seems non existent. Any where that posts?
There is, PM me on facebook messenger or send me an email to john@hookedfishingchannel.co.uk.
Another great video have you changed to a middy pole if so what model
No, I'm still using my Daiwa but I'm getting close to needing a new one which will more than likely be a Tournament X, just need to get my hands on a few others before making a final decision.
From what little I've seen of the match scene bloodworm and joker doesn't seem to be used much any more.
Mainly because it's banned for one reason or another, but there are some places where it's fished with some regularity, it's deadly on the Stainforth & Keadby.
sous-titre français ? ??👎
Non Désolé, c'est trop cher d'appliquer des sous-titres traduits à mes vidéos car elles sont si longues.
