    Just been out to one of these to replace the right hand block, (customer ordered part with correct part number) I couldn't fit it though as the bypass pipe wouldn't fit the new block?? Any ideas? I know they do a block with the bypass blanked but was under the impression that this is removable?

    I fitted one of these a few months ago, converted it to LPG but it wouldn’t set up on low fire the co2 just kept bouncing up and down and the boiler got noisy . Inlet pressure was correct and hot water/ max fire was fine only does it on low fire. The gas valve has been replaced and made no difference!! not sure what other parts have been changed by the manufacturer but they are not able to resolve this. Have you any suggestions what this may be?

    Our Ariston e combi has recently started experiencing ‘flame lift’ (as indicated by the fault code lights that appear) and eventually fires on the 3rd attempt at hot water or central heating demand? I am thinking this could be spark gap too big? Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi for lpg should the fan be adjusted? On initial start up its almost as if fan is spinning to fast and killing pilot and error code 501 appears. Boiler can kick in if you slightly starve the intake by covering with your hand. Any help appreciated

      @@tomkatgastraining yes, its a brand new boiler, on initial first start up it was perfect, all readings from anilysers where within readings. Next day we had nothing. So stripped gas valve etc to check for dibree, all clean. Then by trying hand over inlet (blue) it started up no problem. Its now the only way to get it running. All is safe as nothing is left switched on

    Hi Tomcat ...We have an old..ish 38KW E-Combi about 8/10 years old. Recently at times when we press boost on the programmer the boiler fails to respond? sometimes it does respond a little later. We have learnt that if it does not respond, we run the hot tap for a short while leaving the boost on that when we close the tap down the heating comes on.....Any advise would be welcome, hope you don't mind?...Edit, forgot to mention we have replaced the programmer thinking the old one was the cause of the problem.

    • @tomkatgastraining
      @tomkatgastraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have a room stat the stat could be stopping it coming on until it the room goes lower than the stat is set. Also don’t understand why you have a boost setting when you have a combi as the combi only needs a time clock and stat

    • @CDLANEY1520
      @CDLANEY1520 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tomkatgastraining We have no room stats at all, just a Horsemann C17 programmer. The mechanical clock on the boiler is disabled. Someone suggested perhaps the 3 way valve could be sticking......I have no idea.

      @@CDLANEY1520 I am confused now do you have a combi or a system boiler ? You won’t have a 3 way valve on an combi but a system boiler you could. It could be the diverter valve inside the combi 🤔
