Thanks for the review. I picked one up myself a couple of weeks ago on a whim. What you call cartoony I call retro ;-) Reminding me of the old 40's & 50's sci fi serials and such. Fun stuff.

I have this kit, it's simple but fun and can be modified any which way you like, I've even seen one converted to a retro looking X-Wing fighter.
