Hi you replace the pump 4 times because thy didn't work? Or it broke 4 times, I replace mone and I. Still having the p1116 and that makes the car not run well is overheating

Hi if you wouldn't mind telling me where you got those clamps to squeeze the hoses so the coolant doesn't come out the red clamps you're talking about where did you buy those?

Are you using generic parts?, I replaced mine with a genuine $100 Toyota valve instead of a generic model that was about $80, why take a chance. I also bled the coolant like you did but i did an extra step that helped a great deal, so with the engine off I by-passed the relay to flow mere coolant and a great deal more air evacuated doing this masthead because these cars are difficult to bleed and have a lot of air pockets

Victor you are correct. It is not the valve it is the bleeding procedure that is very complex and difficult to clear all air pockets. After replacing my coolant control valve I still get a p1116 code but only in the cold weather. I simply clear the code with my test meter and all is well. If it was truly a bad valve the p1116 code would return immediately.

Do you have to drive a lot of miles for the stored code to go away

If you replace a part four times ,you're doing something wrong
