The oil pan inspection does tell its own story. Such an important job even though it’s all clean. The oil breather upgrade will make the engine grateful. Really enjoyed the post.
Nice! The 3 orings in my pan were swollen, hard and crumbly when I got my Viggen. Bleeding oil pressure right back into the pan. Pressure went from 8psi->22psi at hot idle, just from replacing these 3 little cheap o-rings. This PM will Literally will save your Saab!
I need to replace the oil pan on my CR-V. But I think I’m going to do that when I replace the clutch because on my car, you have to drop the subframe in order to do that.
Hey brother, it's nice to see that you are doing well so l'm in a bit of a pickle right now and I need new CV axles for my Saab 95 2011 turbo4 l went to a mechanic and they're having a hard time finding the parts do you might know where I can find it

Fixing up a Viggen coupe here too, and hope to keep for a long time.
Great work! I would never use a Fram oil filter though, the word junk does does not do it justice.
Awesome job!
Great videos! I just got a 2001 Viggen convertible that I'm really enjoying. Where did you get the covers for the side skirts?
At Least use a GM oil Filter...I like the Mobil-1 filters
put some aluminum polish on the recirculating metal pipe and the manifold heat shield. it makes the engine bay pop
Valve cover could be like blue or red. That could be nice
still may do it!
Please tell me you replaced and retorqued the head bolts. Stock ones tend to expand and cause oil leaks at the head gasket
Ive never done the PCV upgrade on my Viggen. Very regular oil changea, figure it's low risk
do it!
I wish you would film the entire process and show us how to do it
Iv done bunch on the oil pan. Here is one. th-cam.com/video/46QsNx1lU3g/w-d-xo.html

I'm taking a break from driving the Viggen, was getting too intense.
