I was at this gig in Glasgow. I will never forget it. The atmosphere was electric. It was special. I realise it more now that Im 47. I miss the 90's vibe. Seen them again this year and while they were brilliant, the vibe was completely different. People seemed to care so much more about their outfit and their social media stream content than just enjoying the music. Back then nobody cared about make-up and photos. It was hard work trying to sneak a camera in. It was about coming together with all sorts of people to enjoy the music and it was unforgettable. Good times...
just saw them play this song at neighbourhood weekender this saturday just gone and so grateful for it, amazing to have such a similar experience nearly 20 years later! they were incredible :)

Can't believe it was over 25 years ago! Such a tragedy that kids these days will never know how great it was to be young in the 80s and 90s before social media - and Tony Blair - ruined the UK.

I was like "aw that's nice of them to let someone with support needs have a bit of a dance with them onstage", then realised it was Shaun Ryder.

Funny thing about this comment is that the keyboard player actually suffered from crippling arthritis in her fingers but still played on!!
Holy shit. I came here to confirm! The Mondays and Pulp don’t get half the credit they deserve.
This video is blessed

The only thing social media is good for is looking back to a time before it existed.
