I can’t believe this is on video. I was there, shirt off, 22 years old. lost all my mates, slightly drunk - so found a bunch of girls who took me in 🤣 ( yep shit like that used to happen when I was young & good looking ) I remember that weekend was crazy hot even at night you could sleep out without a tent ⛺️ luckily me though my mate had a flat in Hamilton Main Street about a mile walk from the main stage. Crashed his gaff with my new harem and found he was having a party.. result! I played some guitar sang some oasis and crashed with some girl cuddling me. Wakes up feeling great ( I didn’t get my 1st hangover till I was 25 I think used to think it was a myth 🤣🤦🏻♂️ ) me and my new best buddies had a bottle of vodka between us and headed down for the 2nd day. The 90’s were amazing man.
@@roberttodd2414 aw thanx for reply, just askin cos a friend of a friend has same name as you and bumped into him at TIP 2007, I was in tears cos couldnt get my wellies back on pmsl, ended up at first aid tent, they had to cut em down into ankle boots to get ma feet back in, thick sox and all that, what a palava, can laugh now lol, stopped going a cple years after due to ill health, but mostly I felt turned into a nedfest, my opinion, so dont care if folk slag me off lol, but a wis there from 1994-2010, then it just went shit . my opinion though.!
@@roberttodd2414 Aye was some carry on lol, well a was at the first in 1994, was 22 then, thought was best thing ever, then continued to go for all these years, but agree with your comment about respect etc as well. No not me in foto lol, just a cool gothic lookin pic I liked :)
@@roberttodd2414 Lol we certainly do, yea I was into the rave scene, went to Rez a few times, The Big Bang SECC Glasgow, whole vid is on here, am in it a couple mins in lol, no dancing, we were being interviewed, a never spoke, just had daft grin on ma face lol, went to other big rave nights, also went to rave nights at local club every Sunday, had time of my life, wish I had a time machine lol...still listen to my old skool on here, turn it wayyy up, got a son 22, and hes like feks sake lol, but was into ma indie rock in 90s as well, Oasis, Blur etc, Pulp, am quite eclectic music wise :)

So lucky to have been here, they were reason for my ticket and I heard the start of fire starter from queue at portaloos and bust my way through that crowd to get front row, got a black eye doing it ... but when Keith spat water all over me during his set it was worth it!!! 😂😂 rip you legend ❤️
@@SrawberrySunday2 Thanks Sue. I did not attend this show and though I have been in the park a few times, I was never quite sure where they had had the festival stage etc set up, so now I know. I had guessed it was all set up close to the funfair, but I was wrong.
@@ScottishTeeVee it wasnt actually in Strathy Park as such but a large grass area near the mosileium over the river from the actual park. The 1st year they had it I could hear it as clear as crystal from my back garden nearby. The year after I heard nothing as they were told to turn the volume down a bit as nearby residents complained of the noise. Then it had to relocate as the land was being sold off, and now we have a retail park, a gym and football parks where it once was. :(
