Another point is that the Armor Piercing vs Base Hp requires a ungodly amount of points to do a good difference in PVP, and you need to fight someone with high base hp to see a big change.
@@aYtto The thing is, i am a clan leader and in basically every clan war that happens, people prefer spamming more moves than blocking more moves. Its a 50/50 honestly. In some ganks spamming your moves will grant you a win, in others you will need to press G to gain a win.

Now let's say, if the formula in wiki is correct about AP (which most likely is accurate because I get the same damage increased as your video demonstrated), it would be like this against players: AP% × Defense / (EnemyTotalHP - Defense) / 4 (However, against NPCs it's AP%/2) The result is in percentage. By this formula, you'd deal less damage against players with high vitality, make sense because AP pierces defense directly, I've tried calculated. Which... yes, make it even worse stats. (Need I even mention how amour piercing has NO effects against resistance as well? Yeah, useless.) Anyway, now using that formula to calculate damage increase. Let's say you have about 20 AP% (which cost about 70 AP stat or something) and the enemy has 700 Defense. You'd get +3.26% (x1.0326) damage increase. Okay, maybe it's just low AP%, now let's try 100 AP% against 700 Def. +16.3% damage. A whole gosh darn x1.163 damage, if I want that extra damage, I can literally use bleeding gel to make enemies bleed for 5 seconds and deal extra +10% (x1.1) damage from synergy, which is only just 5.4% less damage increase. You need 400 AP just to get +16% extra damage. But overall, you get the idea, armour piercing sucks and almost utterly pointless right now, it's okay against NPCs however.
Unfortunately you are right, i used it on NPCs for farming and i though WOW, tested it in my friend later and my hype vanished right in that moment. I really like the Armor Piercing stat and i would do a build with it if it wasn't that nerfed since that time. And the fact that it does not work against resistance (i tested that too) sucks alot. Resistance has literally no weakness, and Armor Piercing was the one supposed to be the only one 😭.
@May-Mabel the efficiency points are higher if and if you're just going for primary stats like most people it weighs more into Defense than Size, so that both the power and defense of a sophragos with painites is higher than the power and defense of a vatrachos with Malachite
All i care about is pve. Is it worth it investing in AP compared to power to fight rivals and bosses easier? The formula makes it look very good against npcs
Armor Piercing had to be nerfed because it really was really op back in the day, but now, almost nobody uses, since you have to use ALOT of it to have a visible effect and it will probably ruin your build to get that effect.
Max piercing doesn’t do very good against max resistance, so I’m gonna go with the idea that it only negates base resistances like blocking and surge resistance but doesn’t affect the resistance stat itself.
It doesn't go through resist It goes through defense (HP from armor), blocking and parrying at lower efficiency It also increases your dmg a tiny bit against players but it is overall better against npcs (The formula is on the wiki btw)
Its a stat used to bypass blocking, in the video i have 100% of it(409 points), which means that if i do 200 damage on a beam, i will also deal 200 damage when they block (example), but to get 100% armor piercing you have to sacrifice alot of your PVP build 😭, so it's not worth it for now, i would recommend using 200 points max of Piercing on a build if you want to use that stat as that will give you 54% of armor piercing which in all honesty is good enough (will bypass 54% of blocking).

its uh probably only slightly higher than vatrachos since everyone has it but putting a couple painite on it makes it better

Yeah. But i recommend large investment of Armor Piercing only for PVE though.

If you are speaking about G (Block), that only happens when you have 100% Armor Piercing (or 400 points).
try using davinci resolve
