I live in Idaho and qualified for commercial rates. Sub-7 cents so I am not too worried about profitability.

I've had to remove the skylights in my roof to make room for solar panels, while also building a pergola above my deck.....also to house solar panels. After getting all these set up, I hopefully have 25-30 panels at 305w each and we'll see where that gets me

Cost of energy is out of control and has filtered down to everything. Not only crypto, but farming, labor and shipping. That additional cost filters into everything else (groceries).
The wholesale to commercial electric rate will go up also.
3 years ago I went solar ($3/watt installed) and now I have 40kWh/Day to mine with. Not large by any means, but get's me in the door & finding good projects. I was mining Kaspa and seen that I wouldn't have mined what I wanted. I ended up buying a bag of Kaspa, that was February 2023.

Exactly hard to compete with commercial electricity rates as a home user.
