As a kiwi who has travelled a lot and lived in other countries, NZ definitely is a more chilled relaxed place to live. Yes it’s far away from other places…but this makes it safer and cleaner. Thankyou Anna for talking about pros and cons…yes…no country is perfect ❤

The "median income" not salary in NZ is about $62,000, the "average"salary is just over NZ $75,000 (about the same as France and the UK when converted to $US). Average and median are constantly mixed up when comparing countries. The NZ government usually quotes median while the Australian as an example usually quotes average. NZ has the 3rd highest minimum wage on the planet so in no way a low wage country by any measure thats a myth, but it does have a high cost of living.

I think New Zealand suits those that are financially secure. Whether you are a high earner, living off inheritance or being supported by extended family. Basically, it, 's a country for people who have what they need and life is all about what they want

Thank you;good vlog & informative. All the best, for your future, in Aotearoa. I live in the UK but would love to return. I've got Europe on my doorstep, but still pine for the life far from the maddening crowd, with the lifestyle & scenery unsurpassed by anywhere in Europe.

Despite a lot of conspiracy theories online, New Zealand does not mandate COVID vaccinations.

So basically NZ sucks, don't live here.5000$ us is about 8000$ nz,thats far to high.I live well on 3000$nz/month>Remember the average weekly wage 1200$a couples min wages is 1700$ per week, less tax.Thats a solid standard of living, again consumers can easily budget food costs.I live well on 70$/week (food only)-takeaways,wine/beer and meals are not basic food costs.I observe people spending mega bucks on takeaway lunches, Mcdonalds is now a luxury cost, make your own.
