They made some changes to the story in Rebirth 1, but it's still different enough that it doesn't fit in with the following games. But because Neptunia is a multiverse at this point it basically it still happened, just in it's own universe separately from the other mainline games.
I just finish VIIR but not the VII. They say that VII has different endings in VIIR I dont know and go to memories, pictures ,and skills there are 3 pictures that are lock (2nd to the last up to 4rth to the last) Please tell me how do I gets this I want to finish this game I love it. Help please. I brougth it I thought they are the same way on how to finish it. I will be waiting for answer.
If you keep your VR headset on the whole time, you just see the game screen in the center of the vr display. There's no 3d or anything and the in game VR events are hours apart so it's not really a good way to play it.

I was planning on playing the next canon entry after ReBirth:3, but which one should I play? Should I go with the one I currently own, Megadimension Neptunia VII and wait for a price drop on Megadimension Neptunia VIIR, or would it be better to play this remake first?
I you play on grabbing this one within the year I'd hold off on VII.The story is exactly the same and the changes to the battle system can be kinda disorienting if you play them pretty close to each other.
Hmm I heard the removal of different ending routes was true? I hope i did something wrong lol. Anyways when I really want a VR, it's expensive af in my country, 13k pesos wtf. So idk if choosing between this remake or vanilla, so i dunno if i woud just watch in TH-cam all the VR convos while i go snd play story and extra dungeons if wanted, what do you suggest, mate? Nice review btw
Meh, I’m fine with the base version, it even looks more appealing to me than the remake. And having to buy attacks just feels wrong. Nice review though, very informative :)

Can you play the entire game in VR as in a full 3D environment with head movement being possible or is main battle and scene gameplay during the main game only presented on a flat screen should you decide to play it with the headset? this is something I need to know. I played this game before and I really enjoyed it a lot. Thanks.
Sadly only the VR events are in 3D/VR. If you use the headset during the rest of the game you just see it on game on a flat screen with black around it.
I really do love some changes, but the whole multiple endings being taken away and also the flow of combat being disrupted by these menus than just choosing to attack and hit triangle, square, etc. I feel as if those 2 should have been kept overall.
I agree, it's impossible to say it's better because of those things. Now it's like you have to play both games to get the full experience which is maybe what they were going for, but that's a bit demanding.

But the Steam version of that game is uncensored (with Intimacy Mode in tact), so I might get it on Steam...if Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is uncensored on ps4, then I might consider getting it for ps4 rather than Steam.

Yep, you can see everything, including the VR events without VR, They don't look as cool (3d with more control), but they look better because it's a higher resolution on your TV instead of in VR.

Isn't Re;Birth 1 canon? I know the original ps3 one isnt, but I thought Re;Birth 1 fixed the story ad made it canon.

Will dlc or game saves for the previous game work with this one?
Unfortunately no. The game is different enough that old saves/dlc don't work with it.
