Jeep TJ Front End Build Pt1: Custom Twisted Pitman Arm

  • The first video of many detailing the front end build of my TJ. General overview includes swapping a Wagoneer d44 in while stretching the front as far forward as possible while retaining the factory location of the steering box. The first step in that leads us to this video: a custom pitman arm to help the clearance and steering angles of the pitman arm and drag link.
    While the Genright twisted pitman is a beautiful piece, I would rather spend that chunk of money elsewhere and this seems like a relatively simple piece to create if you have the tools.

    I noticed that you have your track bar on the back side of the axle. What mount did you use or did you just fab one.

      i fabbed one. i have swapped axles again now and kept the same setup with full hydro steering. behind the axle is a great way to go if you can make it work
