Hey I've got this same machine...lemme tell ya it's not what you think...the main fail point is the cast pulley on the flywheel...check the play in the key way that's between it... the bushing behind the pulley tends to eat the pulley so it gets sloppy on the shaft.... they could've put the wrong key way in there also so please check the keyway.... I've had the machine for almost 2 years...parts availability is not good... everything ships from Canada... so buy multiple parts... the cutter head and pulley are the most worn out.... and my price is 3.50 a diameter inch... 10 inches 35 bucks... good luck with the dk2...

I was actually looking at this very machine. A guy could rig up a hyd disk brake from racing gokarts on the left wheel, it would be sweet. I found an "all power 6" chipper" on craigs list. That has saved so much time and dump fees. All these related tools keep the cash flowing in the off season. Currently looking to upgrade our software to assist in pushing side work.

811 is a free safety service and I usually do mines online. The only reason I got the Dosko unit was for the Honda engine. But I also have the same kohler engine with 200+ hours they are a very dependable engine!

If it doesn't have instructions, I believe it is 5 full wraps around the spark plug wire and zip ties to hold everything in place.

1800? so that thing has gone up about 400 since i last looked at them. go figure. ive considered buying one for a while now but i dont think the market in my area is that great for it. there is a company that specifically advertises for it so there is some market but not much.

I think I can make my money back fairly quick here, but I will see after leaf season is over.

I can tell you right now' you better be in good shape to run this..any dirt or other obstacles in the way, you will work your guts out..no hydro.a tiny stump on level ground it might work..I'm not cutting this man down..
