I m also having same petrol vxi manual 2018. And really what a wonderful peppy and comfortable car. With best space in its class. Average is so good I m getting 20+ on smooth driving.
Fallen in love... Wherever I go Iam taking with love. Earlier I used to ride it at higher speed.. it was good.. now riding at cruise speed of 65 ~80 kmph and it's giving me excess of 28 with intermittent AC.
Its the best ever car india made. Its reliability, built quality, mileage, practicality, durability, engine performance, spacious, ride & handling, after sales service & resale value all are just AWESOME!!!!!!!
previously a santro Xing owner for 10 years , I now have Dzire AMT petrol from 6 months. the Boot-lid seems to be thinner metal, also the front bumper is one huge single piece with most of the radiator components integrated to it, susceptible to damage and possibly expensive to repair, There is no metal heat shield on exhaust manifold and no under body cladding or protection. Because of this reasons I have changed to sedate and calm driving style , although it picks up satisfactorily on pressing accelerator when roads are empty (AMT delay is acceptable and can get used to). Even Brakes on my car are good although the test drive vehicle braking was very sharp & a scary experience(first time driving AMT). The santro although not safe at all was well built (looking inside bonnet), had a mechanical Raw and super fun to drive pedal-to- metal on empty roads but painful in traffic, this is opposite ie: easy & comfortable in traffic but not so fun on empty roads. one more thing that the reviewers never tell is that lower models (VXI spec ) are more comfortable on RIDE as they have smaller wheels and thinner tyres with bigger side wall. the disadvantage is poor handling and grip at higher speed.

you made the right choice...there is nothing to fear as long as you drive smoothly,sanely and understand the basic physics(the massive forces during high speed collision wont spare the car whether its a mercedes volvo or Maruti ). more idiots in high end Mercs and BMW cars meet with fatal accidents than sensible people in their marutis and hyundais. Also the high speed steering and Braking response is unpredictable and scary on recent Hyundai's(check on owner forums , you will come to know).

It's a quite decent car, that i know because I've used it. But Considering overall Performance, one must opt for Honda Amaze that is far better that this dzire. Amaze comes with 5 star ⭐ Ncap safety rating & better looks that is sufficient for a user to consider (Generally) . No doubt dzire is a good car, but it's a 2 star ⭐ Ncap rated car, and that is dangerous in itself.

All other manufacturers do the same methodology to calculate ground clearance? And last question why old method of calculation of ground clearance is changed? Please reply.... No you are wrong about rear ac , I am the owner of this car ,we travel around a 1000 km a day covering whole Rajasthan and rear ac is not good it's fantastic yes we don't feel any of discomfort. And best AC of this category, atlast rear ac is must and it is primary requirements of quick cooling. So I suggest go for car with rear ac wheather you are going for DZire or any other car, rear vent are must for the Indian kind of condition
Delicate body. Atleast, front part sheet metal thicker hona chahiye. ground clearance 170 hona chahiye. Ek dog ko dash kiya aur poora bumper, radiator, AC smash ho gaya.

I am using this car from last November 2017. Maintenance cost is same as the manual one. For your confidence purchase additional warenty of 3 years from maruti in addition to the 2 year given with the car so you get 5 year warranty. Then insurance you have to take engine and gear box protection coverage also costs you 1000 rs extra. Car is just awesome in performance and comfort. I am using petrol.
The suspension parts used in both V variant and Z variant are one and the same, why do you think that the suspension is tuned differently on Z variant Dzire when the part nos for suspensions in both the variants are same ?

Check for the clutch disc .. that sound from break bad is due to the oil leakage from clutch disc .. your vechicle is under warranty means .. take as soon to a Maruti showroom and change it , or it may become problem after a long drive . Serious issue it is . Take it to the service centre

If u hv budget then go for zxi + variant & if not then go for vxi variant most VFM variant .....ground clearance is good enough but u hv to careful on bumps & speed breakers specially big ones. Owner suggestion vxi variant 😎🚘☝️

About spare tyre,its all about outer diameter of tyre ,15 inch rim or 14 inch rim doesnt matter

Rear seat is more comfortable on DZire. It has better recline making it more comfortable.
