I also have this stroller. Using it from birth as I have the car seat adapters to attach my Cybex Cloud T too, therefore don’t need a bassinet as the car seat fully reclines. Bought this as it would last until my little one is walking.
I got it in sage green and love the colour, even for my little girl.
It’s one hand open and fold is amazing too and fits great in a boot, with room for shopping or even a dog (in my case, I have to strapped to the D ring in the boot so it doesn’t tip)
Highly recommend as a car pram for out shopping.
    Hope you enjoy it too.

You took domperidone for quite a while and domperidone is a gastroprokinetic (it increases gastric contractions and digestion) so maybe your body got used to it and became a bit too reliant on it to process food now that you are off of it?

If it hasn't been included yet, I would ask them to check for celiac disease on your next bloods. It can cause a lot of really odd symptoms, and the first test is a simple blood test so easy to rule out. Hope you're able to get some answers soon.

I get lightheadedness, dizziness and headaches and shaking if I eat sugar on an emptyish stomach, and I used to get nausea after eating generally in my early 20's, but that seems to have gone away. I was being driven down the motorway last summer after an afternoon out where I had some chocolate cake and I felt like I was on the verge of passing out right up until we made it to a service station where I had some chips. I don't know if it was the potato or salt but the feeling went away after about 10 minutes. This was not the first time something like that happened, so I went for a blood test and nothing. According to my GP I'm absolutely fine. I know how you feel, it does interfere and it's just annoying knowing whenever I go out to eat with friends I have to have a savory option, unless I already have a full stomach. It's not major so I just left it at that, but it's definitely a frustration!

Oh man, I relate on the food thing. I've never been food motivated or had much of an appetite. And since I was a teenager, at least, I've often had long periods of time where I'm nauseous after pretty much everything I eat. Had a few months of that earlier this year, and it was so frustrating. I've never pursued an answer, but each time it starts up again, I've been increasingly in want of an answer.

Ask doc to check your ferritin, vitamin D, and B12. COVID depletes everything but mainly these 3.

It may be worth talking to your doctor to see if it makes sense to run a quick celiac blood test (if you haven't already). Celiac can activate at any time and it can produce confusing non-intuitive symptoms that are hard to trace directly to gluten. If you do get tested just be sure you are eating lots of gluten for 4-6 weeks prior to the test (at least a couple of slices of bread a day) , the recommendation for the exact duration of gluten consumption varies but generally the longer you have been eating it the better. SIBO is also another good one to talk to your doctor about testing (it may be difficult to get a doctor to look into SIBO in the UK, if you can find someone that is up to date on the latest research they might be able to run the breath test). Good luck! I know how frustrating mystery gastro problems are.

I always dread daycare sending me a message saying my son has a fever or he's sick... I work from home and he's super clingy, and I don't get anything done when he's home.
This morning on the way to daycare I heard him vomit, we live close so we were almost there.... Then I turned around and brought him back home... He vomited a few times before his nap, he's been okay since he woke up from his nap and I'm hoping it's over now 🤞🏻.. Not fun cleaning vomit all day.... But them being sick is the worst!
My son definitely is sick a lot less than many other kids. As people always say 'they're always sick if they go to a daycare center'.. He's been going full time Mon-Fri, since 8 weeks old and he's 2 now.
Winters are usually the worst as the germs are at an all time high then and everyone is sick.. But luckily we just finished winter now.
I dislike interviews so much 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 it's just so awkward.. You're basically telling them everything about you, and then you might never see them again.
    But good luck with that!

Once you’ve tried your new push chair out a bit more, I’d be curious to hear a comparison between it and the buggies you previously posted video reviews for. I’m curious to see if your thoughts on the others have changed at all (e.g. due to passage of time, improved technology, more life experience)?

I experienced nausea after eating that lasted for about 6 months on and off. It was really odd and like yourself, it wasn't every time I ate but when it did happen it was horrible and I genuinely felt like I was going to be sick within 5 minutes. I also noticed it was a bit more common around sugary things. Unfortunately, I never found out the cause of it (i have some other health issues like PoTs & hypothyroidism which tends to complicate things). Thankfully, it completely disappeared and I haven't felt like that for about 4 months. Hopefully it doesn't return! I have tried to cut down on sugar and spicy food and have started taking probiotics and perhaps that has helped but who knows! I hope you find some answers and it goes away soon.

FMDs are brilliant because they look at the big picture. Food sensitivities can be caused by autoimmune disorders. Your FMD will figure it out. I spent decades looking for answers. Now on a gf, df, ef, fodmap diet. Difficult but doable. Best of luck with all the tests.

Please do some research on gastroparesis if it's not already been brought up. Nausea after eating is the most common symptom! Along with the bloating, pain, and not being able to eat a lot at once. It's not something that will show up on any blood test, and it can be triggered by any kind of virus. It took me almost 15 years for a doctor to suggest it before I finally got a diagnosis and the right treatment.

Yes, came here to say this!! Also, I was prescriped domperidone for gastroparesis which helped me a lot, so Bryony if you're reading this, perhaps consider if your symptoms started/increased after stopping domperidone, if you did stop it (I remember you stating in some videos that you were on it for milk production). Digestive enzymes also help me a lot.

Hopefully you find answers. My husband has had covid twice, and the second time was this year. Since having covid, he’s been ill with a bug constantly. It’s like he’s never fully well. Sometimes nausea, sometimes infections… it’s like covid has depleted his resistance or something. Thankfully I’ve still never had covid.

I'm sorry you have nausea after eating. Unfortunately it's such a vague symptom that can be caused by almost anything... I would try to pay attention to other potential symptoms and correlations. E.g. is there any pattern? Like for example is the nausea always worse after certain foods (e.g. gluten) or it comes randomly regardless of what type of food you've just eaten (could indicate gastroparesis). Is any pain also possibly present? For example headache (which could indicate e.g. migraine or hormonal issues), or upper right stomach pain (gallbladder) etc. If there are any correlation with high sugar foods, how does blood sugar looks? etc. Finally always suspect Covid in these days. Acute as well as long Covid is known to cause gastrointestinal issues.

I have a question! Perhaps you've talked about budgeting before but I'm curious how you budget for unexpected costs like the pushchair, or car problems. I find it really tricky to account for large surprise costs.

    • @preciousstarsvlogs
      @preciousstarsvlogs  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

I have talked a bit about money in other videos, but not sure I've covered savings. I have a short terms savings account which I always like to keep around £5K in. If I have any unexpected costs that can't be covered by my income that month then I will dig into my savings to cover them. If the total in my savings drops below £5K, then I will try to keep putting a bit more into savings over the next couple of months. If you have no savings right now the best way to start is to work out what roughly 5% of your income is each month, and set up an automatic payment for that amount to go from your current account into your savings each month. That way you will start to build up some funds without really having to think about it. :)
