I have been a (Dutch) GNR fan from day 1 and now as a father of 2 ,I still love this song. I think Myles is doing very well not trying to replace Axl, but still staying relatively close to the original!

I think Slash is the only person in the world touching layers something like this with so much harmony and rhythm just give him a guitar and it will make art if it's true, maybe not like everyone but this is the most common mistake committed by future great artists treating everyone like. I ♥ listening to Slash playing guitar doesn't have a drop of ego knowing that he's one of the best guitarists in the world is very modest always congratulates next to it. I would have loved to have heard axl sing PROMISE on this last tour they did. that would have been awesome. i made a vid of me covering Promise acoustically...sounds like axl singing it during the chorus. my fave song to sing ever!
Oh my goodness. Someone who can sing these songs correctly but without the attitude. Grew up with GNR but found Axl's ego too much for me to support him. Slash continues to rock as always.
