The health your hair is giving is gorgeous! I know I wouldn't have gone to any cosmetologist again if it wasn't for your content. I lost so much trust, you restored it. Thanks Cyn♡
Ever since I started following your methods, ie. Keep it simple, clean, stretched and dry, I NEVER USE OIL, n my hair is NEVER dull. I really don’t use product in between washes anymore. Love it here!

Your hair is beautiful ❤Cyn, I had damaged hair do to divorce. I started your 7 day challenge for the second time and my hair is growing so healthy. Thank you
I just noticed the other day how whiny my hair is. No oil or serum on it, I flat ironed almost a week ago. Since I have been listening to you, my hair keeps getting better. My hair loves a boar bristle brush❤
I haven’t been diagnosed with anything as she was and yet my hair still isn’t growing like this. This is so dope to see no matter the length of her hair it is healthy growing n thriving period! The haters could never have me feeling any type of way ever! I would keep making them mad. it’s obvious they hating
I took your advice and started using just a few staple items to do my silk presses. I took all my locs out after 3 years in December and started the new routine for silk pressing and it's been a game changer. My hair looks so healthy and bouncy after I trimmed off 3-4 inches. Prior to locing my hair, I had an entire beauty supply store of products to do my hair. I was waist deep in the natural hair processes, and I was overwhelmed with how long my wash days were. Needless to say, my hair is on a path to happy, and I have cut my wash day time down to 4 hours from wash to style ✌🏽😘
You go girl!❤️ You're a great example of the power of simplifying!

@Cyndoll you would be proud of me. I finally did a successful at home silk press last night. I washed my hair with olaplex, used the Kendra leave in and my goodness.
I remember as a kid just using mane n tail shampoo and conditioner, a hot oil treatment and that’s it. Now I’m just using shampoo n conditioner and leave in moisturizer thats it. A mask and clay every once in a while. Keeping it super simple 🤷🏾♀️ all other hair products are just for fun but at a higher cost to hair, scalp and overall health because of the ingredients. So I do 90% of my hair maintenance with nutrition…eating healthy food with intermittent fasting, drinking good mineral water and vitamins. It’s really all about the inner health.
Is the minerals helping you with hair growth? And thickness if that's an issue? I just started taking colloidal minerals, so I don't know how it will work for me.
Girl...your hair is thriving! You're such a great example an inspiration. I will be starting the challenge soon after I get my ends clipped at my cosmetologist. God bless you for all you do!
Okay, now come through HAIR!!! I love it🫶🏾❤️ and one thing I love about you, Cyn Doll, is that you do is keep it str8💯 when it comes to the science of hair care, whether you like or not. Many thanks for sharing the knowledge❤️ 😍
Your hair looks AWESOME! It’s so healthy and pretty. I went back to my old practices, which is what you teach and I’m retaining length again. I just hope my hair will thicken up again. Thanks❤
Hey Cyn, I watched this video of a woman I forgot what her credentials are in, but in short, she works with pathology with infectious diseases. Anyway, she looked into the frequency of washing “Afro textured” hair and why nothing belongs on the scalp. So all in all, she concluded that washing hair more frequently and applying nothing on the scalp aids in better scalp health and reduces scalp infections and the like, significantly. Basically what you been saying. Lol
So I have been constant and changed my mindset from hair care to self care. I changed all my pictures from wigs to my natural hair. I was confident. However I’m 10 months postpartum and stop the vitamins and my hair is shedding like crazy. Hopefully once I stop nursing fully things will be ok. Can, you are a great motivation. Thank you so much.
I wash my hair every week and would like to flat iron my hair every week like you, are there signs to look for in the hair to know if the hair can't handle it every week? Or if maybe your flat iron is too hot at a certain temp if you want to flat iron weekly?I I hope I didn't confuse you with that second part of my question.
You should practice. I do it every week because I’m a professional and I know what I’m doing. I made mistakes too but I’ve been doing it regularly for 15 years. If you have to ask this question you should stick to every two weeks until you know what you’re doing. I can’t give direction on technique etc in the comments sorry.
My only problem with your methods Cyn is that my silk presses won't last past two weeks anymore because im getting new growth and more sebum production just after a week? I have to cut every 3 weeks now to mainain the same length cos i cant flat iron hair with my two kids. I did what you said about detoxing and the gut. New growth is ruining my silk presses. Any advice? Also....any advice on edge control? Whats the best one? My edges are growing and reverts so fast i feel i should change styles. I aint complaining about the growth dont get me wrong....i just need help keeping my edges smooth without having to flat iron them through the week. Im amazed at how sorting the gut can yield hair growth. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Use a blow dryer or shampoo every two weeks. Stop trying to stretch it. If your hair says shampoo in a week shampoo. I teach listening to hair not finding ways to quiet it. Your body is now doing what it’s suppose to do. Work with it and do what it’s asking of you.
I’m so happy that I already understood about keeping high porosity hair wet during the blow drying process. This is actually why I stopped using the Dyson blow dryer because I felt like it dried the hair out via air quicker than it did with heat and I felt like without a very specific technique. It was harder for me to get a sleek result at home.
Hi Cyn Doll- I hope you can answer my question quickly. I'm getting braiding extensions in my hair. Should I avoid using the braiding gel? The hair braiders seem to always want to use some kind of gel or grease in your hair when braiding. Thanks

“To the grandkids in the back talkin shit lol “ that took me out Your hair looks so good and I love your curl pattern, your hair is growing out so nicely… My hair thrives when I wash blow dry and flat iron but since I have Sebbhoreic dermatitis I have to wash every 3 days so I’m trying to wear it in it’s curly state more but the way my heat damage set up it don’t look good but I don’t want to shave my hair off so I’m kinda stuck plus the SD caused patches from me scratching I guess but they have since grown in but haven’t caught up to the rest of my hair but I’m being patient and using olaplex and I will begin to trim often so the hair can catch up like you have done 😅😃

(This response is to you and all those like you reading! Comments like this is how mess is brought to my videos but I won’t delete this time.) You won’t read all this so just answer this. ( what does the oil you add do that your natural sebum can’t. I’ll wait.) I cut my hair about 2 inches every month for the last 6 years. Sit down please.❤️ Your length means absolutely nothing in this context. I treat women who think they knew it all like you do until they start thinning and going bald. Super beautiful results!!!!! Im struggling so much with my hair. It is super super tightly coiled i can classify it as 4G not 4C. I try my best to incorporate all i have learned from you and my hair is growing and scalp is happy. But the tightness of the coil is my biggest challenge so much so that my blow out is not giving rather my hair became thinner and doesn't blow out properly after my efforts. What do you think about japanese hair straightening treatments?
Master your hair stop labeling it. There is no such things as 4c . Hair is hair, learn its true props and you will master it. Read the comments hair care is actually very simple
