    Location is Northern NSW, Australia. There are other videos on the channel to listen to them burning diesel and hopefully many more to come! Unfortunately it’s difficult to get decent sound with drone footage but I’m working on it as they do sound nice!

      Any sound from these monsters is better than the selected music. Keep it real or not at all.

    • @DieselandIron
      @DieselandIron 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I've found that I can setup a H1N recorder on a tripod reasonably close to the work and it will capture all of the sound while the drone flies. To sync audio and video have someone stand next to the recorder while the drone is facing them and clap your hands once or twice. You now have a visual and audio point to sync with.

      Thanks! Generally the bigger the machine the cheaper it is per cubic meter moved (Its approx $1 per cubic meter). It works out cheaper and a lot quicker for the farmer. Time is money, especially for farmers. We obviously don’t do small jobs except on our own farm.

    • @DieselandIron
      @DieselandIron 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thejacksonbrothers that makes sense. Do you guys have to tear down those machines to transport them? Here in the states you have to remove the blade and ripper for transport and get a bunch of special permits due to the weight which makes them really expensive to move around.

    • @thejacksonbrothers
      @thejacksonbrothers  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

  • @SJR_Media_Group
    @SJR_Media_Group ปีที่แล้ว

    *_Must have been a BIG job if D11's were needed... they are not big.. they are HUGE._*
    Dozers are perfect for 'pushing' ground around. Perfect use for creating new contours and earthen berms for flood control. I can remember when D9's were the biggest bad boys on the block. They are small next to their big brother, the D11.
    When front blade is rated for 25 cubic yards, that is saying a lot. That is the equivalent to 2 and 1/2 ten yard dump trucks worth of material. That means material didn't have to be loaded into dump trucks, then transported to work area, then dumped.
    Dozers can move it to exact position after being dumped. But if the excavation area isn't too far, it's faster to have giant dozers push material from cut area to fill area in 1 step.
    *_Former Boeing Everett. I love big machines, whether planes or construction equipment._*
