So blessed by this this morning. My boyfriend and I were just discussing the circumstances, at his job...the feeling of being surrounded by evil people, cussing at him, using the Lord's name in vain, saying untruths to his bosses, when he's actually the one trying to do right. Well, the holy spirit came upon our conversation and we were able to talk about what he will have to do...put on the whole armor of God, take all of his thoughts captive and to give every single situation to the Lord. Those demons are surrounding him, trying to make him of the world but our Jesus is the strength that has already prevailed over the bad of this world and his situation. He has all the power over those principalities. Amen? Thank You Jesus! I've noticed a greater discernment, every day, in my surroundings. Hang in there. I got saved at 45, with tons of baggage, I'm 60 now and in the beginning of my walk I kept the Faith and good works but man I had insomnia really bad, among other things. Attacks are real but rest assured they are super common for new converts. Satan wants us back. Just don't give him an inch, submit to God resist the devil and he will flee. It literally rips my heart into & feels like I'm being kicked in the stomach when i hear of the ridicule & pain Jesus endured. I stood up and screamed at the TV during The Passion of the Christ when he was being dragged to the cross. I was yelling stop stop uncontrollably. Everyone turned and looked at me like I was crazy but it was at that very moment that i knew Jesus Christ was real (I always thought he was but that just confirmed it for me) because the pain that I felt FOR Jesus as He was being crucified is a pain that you feel when a loved one is suffering & it was a pain that I would feel for my Father. I can't explain it but from that day on I never had any doubts about Jesus Christ or His love for us.
As a child, I was absolutely devastated by the suffering of Jesus - and the cruelty of humans.... that's why I could never have watched the film you mention. Just like you, I always just want to protect Him. And I could still shed tears when I imagine those heart-wrenching hours.
Amen, I did the same watching the movie for the 1st time. Everytime I watch it I break down and cry. Jim Caviezel was not only struck by lightning twice making the movie, he also got real sick with the flu, then putting him him on the cross it dislocated his shoulder. He would not quit the scene even though he was suffering great pain. He was truly under attack by the devil. Jim is a great actor and Christian. One day when Jesus arrives every knee will bow and all will know it is Jesus. But for those unbelievers it will be too late. Hell is real and it's for an eternity. I pray for eyes to be opened & hearts softened that people would not only hear but understand the message of the Gospel that Joe is trying to share here. I pray that people would see the spiritual realities of our world as clearly as the physical. But no amount of teaching or preaching is going to make a difference unless there is an intervention of the Holy Spirit. Joe, I really like your delivery of the gospel, your soft spoken, calm and intelligent way of articulating God and the bible. It is very effective. Normally I do not watch anything Christian related, I run the other way from anyone who preaches. I strayed from Christianity in my teens although I still always believed and prayed under my breath. But you have me listening and being affected by your words. You definitely have a wisdom and way of delivering the word and the story of the bible, but not too forceful as some others seem. I will keep watching and listening to your messages. Know you are being watched and you are getting through.

As a person who was born in and still lives in the Caribbean my heart was very very grieved during my first ever visit to England back in 2018 ,while in London I asked several people where I could find a full gospel church to attend on Sundays and their response to my question was very shocking and sad, some answered me roughly and some just looked at me but did not answer,I wanted to go back home every day for two weeks untill I met some amazing Christians who were mostly of Caribbean decent and the pastor aand his wife were also of Caribbean decent

I was a young boy who didn't know care about anything anymore. I didn't care about my family and friends... I didn't care about my little sister who's still 3 years old, I always got angry at everyone for absolutely no reason and thought that I was just a hindrance to my family. If you were to die, God will judge you guilty as a wicked liar, thief, blasphemer and other sins u have committed in heart, word and in action and send you to Hell as punishment. None of your good works can save you, just as a good judge cannot let a murderer go based on charitable works he did which is irrelevant to the crime. Neither can another sinner pay for your sins because they have their own to answer for. Only the sinless Son of God , Jesus Christ can pay for your sins in full by his death on cross, burial and resurrection and God can legally dismiss your case on the account of what Christ did than what u did. That is the GOOD NEWS of the gospel, that no one has to go to Hell by trusting in Jesus alone for His forgiveness of all your sins (past, present, future) and He can give you eternal life. Salvation is free gift from God, not because we are good, but because HE is good and rich in mercy to forgive our sins.

It literally rips my heart into & feels like I'm being kicked in the stomach when i hear of the ridicule & pain Jesus endured. I stood up and screamed at the TV during The Passion of the Christ when he was being dragged to the cross. I was yelling stop stop uncontrollably. Everyone turned and looked at me like I was crazy but it was at that very moment that i knew Jesus Christ was real (I always thought he was but that just confirmed it for me) because the pain that I felt FOR Jesus as He was being crucified is a pain that you feel when a loved one is suffering & it was a pain that I would feel for my Father. I can't explain it but from that day on I never had any doubts about Jesus Christ or His love for us.

Amen, I did the same watching the movie for the 1st time. Everytime I watch it I break down and cry. Jim Caviezel was not only struck by lightning twice making the movie, he also got real sick with the flu, then putting him him on the cross it dislocated his shoulder. He would not quit the scene even though he was suffering great pain. He was truly under attack by the devil. Jim is a great actor and Christian. One day when Jesus arrives every knee will bow and all will know it is Jesus. But for those unbelievers it will be too late. Hell is real and it's for an eternity. Normally I do not watch anything Christian related, I run the other way from anyone who preaches. I strayed from Christianity in my teens although I still always believed and prayed under my breath. But you have me listening and being affected by your words. You definitely have a wisdom and way of delivering the word and the story of the bible, but not too forceful as some others seem. What your son needs is unconditional love from you. Don’t push your belief on him, that will only push him away. Love and accept him unconditionally and he will find the right path, otherwise he will look for love in the wrong places and could end up in demonic hands. Love is the answer.
Lord, we come before you in Christ's mighty name. We ask for your deliverance. We beg that rescue @Metro Cust son in Jesus' name. We know you hear the cries of parents and this one is looking for the return of their prodigal son. We ask for a softening of the heart and a forgiving spirit. We ask for the son to be overwhelmed by the love of Christ. Please open his eyes to the deception and witchcraft he has subjected to and cover him with the blood of Jesus Christ.
