This simple mod is ingenius guys. I wish the toyota engineers did this in the first place. I thought an xtrac was the only way to get a front lsd, but ur ingenuity has solved a big issue with the gt4. Im def getting this soon. I have an st165 with st185 box and st205 rear diff and this is gonna make her actually take corners now instead of undesteering into a ditch first and then oversteering into a wheelie bin. Lol. Great job guys

How much would that cost? Could we fuse an MR2 e153 LSD box with an st185rc transfer case? Just wondering..

So you have full time 50 50 split? Why not weld spider gears and output shaft to front diff and remove the 20lb viscous coupling unit all together? Same end resault less rotating mass

From factory; the viscous LSD is used to maximizes the power split equally between front and rear differentials when all 4 wheels have equal grip, without creating drivetrain binding/windup. Welding the center diff will cancel the viscous and makes the front and rear differentials to turn at the same speed permanently (drivetrain binding on tarmac). BUT doing so; the front diff will still be an open diff. The Agile Performance converter shaft transfers the viscous LSD to the front diff.

@@GasketFuka ok thanks , the reason i asked is that i recently bought a st 185 and in doing my research they are known for understeering ,so i was looking for options to reduce this to setup a more nutrual to a slight lift off oversteer when turning in
