Leather expert Suzie Fletcher is next to receive a visitor. Mark Whitmore has brought along a precious reminder of a wonderful son. The leather braided bracelet belonged to an incredible young man called Michael who always lived life to the full. He bought it while travelling to far-flung places and wore it every day. The family were devastated when he was killed in a motorbike accident at the age of 28. Mark’s wife, Sue, has found wearing the bracelet herself a great comfort, but it’s now so dry and fragile, Sue is reluctant to continue wearing it. Suzie must carefully reinforce the leather and attach a fastening so that it can be worn with confidence and continue to be a reminder of a much-missed son.
