- Here's a recipe for Bitter Gourd Keema Stuff:
Ingredients:
- 2 medium bitter gourds
- 1 cup keema (minced meat, usually beef or lamb)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cut the bitter gourds in half and scoop out the seeds and pulp. Rub with salt and set aside for 10 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger paste until the onion is translucent.
3. Add the keema and cook until it's browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
4. Add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, and chili powder. Cook for 1 minute.
5. Stuff each bitter gourd half with the keema mixture and place them in a baking dish.
6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes or until the bitter gourds are tender.
7. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
Note: You can adjust the amount of chili powder to suit your desired level of spiciness.
