This actually works if your USB connection for the controller doesn't work, so thanks to this I saved money instead of buying a new controller

Picking this up in 2020. Got a PS4 pro in 2016, wish I got one of these earlier and wish these were around longer as it's harder to find the Sony version. DualShock 4 still going to be a great controller into the future.

I have a little station where I charge my 3ds, phone and wii u controller, now my dual shock 4's can finally have a home there too! Previously had to leave my ps4 on stand by when I would really prefer not to, not to mention having them floating all over the room with dangly cables and using up my USB ports.

Thanks for the quick response, I ordered the product before watching your video and realised that this was made with the first ps4 and dualshock 4 controlers. And I read somewhere that they changed the battery on v2 version. Thanks again!

Still a great little device and i like the rubber/foam part where the controller sit so it protects them more.

I just got this and I couldn't believe how easy they slide into the connector. I have no idea why the reviewer was having trouble with it.

Does this station works with a scuf too, because of the paddels on the back?
So if i get the charging station where will i plug in those wires u showed at the beginning. is it battery powered or do i plug the charging station into the actual ps4
The station is a must have if you use a usb headset, the battery life of dualshock 4's is pretty bad compared to the 3's and its smart to have multiple controllers if you plah a lot.
Yh the ps3 controllers lasted longer but I think it's the light on the ps4 taking all the battery life cause there's no way of turning it off
question, can i leave the controller there even the charger isn't plug in? will it not deplete some kind of battery?
It takes a little bit of practise to get familiar with where to line up the ports, had this thing for years now and I can do it without looking.

I got one today and I noticed something about it that I did not expect
So first off all I would have expected the 8 plug to be on the back of the unit and not include a little power brick
until I noticed that the little power brick looked familiar ... it's in fact just a PSP Charger ... and just so you know it works just fine on a PSP

seeing you need to push it down. makes me sure im going with the NYKO. i have the 360 and One versions and they are perfect.
Do you have to disconnect it when not in use? What if you just wanna leave the controllers in in the docking station so they won't be laying around? Do they just stay charging if the docking station is plugged? Or do they turn off once they're fully charged?

Much prefer the look of the NYKO Modular charge station. Can't seem to find any in the UK yet though...
Great video- need to get one of these. I have the official Sony charger for the PS3 and they seem to charge the controllers quicker and more fully than simply using a USB cable. The added weight of the base on the PS3 controller and the PS4 charger is also very nice.

Hi one question, when the DS4 is fully charged, can i take it on the station without any kind of problems, or i must take it out of the charging station?
You can leave it on the dock and not face any immediate problems. But the thing is if a battery is charged longer than it needs to be the battery life decreases over time.
Can you connect the USB into a plug and put into a Wall Socket or Surge Protector to charge it rather then the PS4 itself?

I recently got this charging dock secondhand and noticed after a while the light on the remote switches off. Does that mean that the remote is fully charged or is it that the remote isn’t charging? When when I plug in the remote, the orange light comes on and then switches off. So I just assume that it’s fully charged or is it broken😂

My charging station was also imported from Japan or China I believe. It was pretty cheap, so you think it will burn out my battery?
If it is an official one it should be fine, other than that I cannot really say.
if you have the official PS4 Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller Action Grips on your controllers, this charging dock will not work. And those are some of the best grips on market, so keep that in mind

I would think it would be okay to leave on it i dont think it would over heat or over charge but you can always just take it off and let it sit the battery should not fade

This is a great little charger, when it is charged up it will shut off.

I can't see the point in the station. A pair of USB cables taped together would do the job easier, and for cheaper.
