To still have this listed as $300 is kinda crazy, I saw that my local target had Xbox series X listed at $350 on sale. Different console but it is the current gen to only spend $50 extra on. If Sony listed these slims at $200 I think you’ll find some casual gamers who don’t mind being on last gen part of the Sony ecosystem. And who knows by having the ps4 for a while they’d want to update to PS5
Tbh I’m not even sure how often you’ll see these in store anymore. It’s been a couple months since Ive seen one (i haven’t really been looking though). The last few I saw were in a walmart
@@jrob0021 agreed. My local Walmart I see has at least 5 of these in the display case and everytime I pass them as months go on I’m just like “shouldn’t they want to offload these? Agreed 300 bucks is wild, I paid nearly 240 for a PS2 near the end of its life cycle. Did play my slim up until this year though, got my money's worth.
One thing I've noticed after refurbishing a ton of PS4's is that they've used some very nice thermal compound on them because even after one would have expected them to be completely dried out they've still been pretty decently maliable. I mean they still need new thermal paste but comparing with Microsoft they seem to have opted for higher quality stuff. That said I haven't done too many xboxes so perhaps I'm mistaken due to small sample size there.

I was lucky to get one of those slim with the spider man bundle back in 2018 Black Friday sale at target for 199$ .
I have an ps4 slim blue color
For me the events tab showed tournaments for games so that's what it was used for I think (i.e street fighter and mortal Kombat)
250 at walmart.. almost bought it, no point tho at this point
4 slim hard drive speed sata data slot is actually worse than the other two The usb slots are quicker lol such a weird change
You should make a watercooled ps4
I’ll put it in an ice bath
I am still on my PS4 Pro. 🤷♂️
I bet that everytime you turn it on you hear this:
✈️✈️✈️✈️welcome to Sony airlineeeees!
Bro I miss my main menu themes 😭
man i miss that experience
Are there more ps4 ppl here who encountered problems after they updated the system software to version 10.00? I lost all my save games trying to correct the problem. :(
2:36 i see what you did there...
Aye that ps4 headset wasnt that bad. Yes it was uncomfortable but the nic quality was amazing
Still got my ps4 slim put it away since getting the PS5. It's in mint condition!
This is expensive. Way back 2021 you can get a ps4 slim 1tb with 3 games bundled for the same price at a retailer.
PS portal isnt a handheld. Its just a phone that has the playstation controller torn apart and attached on it that ONLY lets you play games if you own a playstation. Might as well be a paperweight if you dont have a console.
Just got the ps5 pro in the mail. Amazing.
the events are the tournament game play mode for the games
2:03 My cousin has (or had) one of these and it it's just as loud as an og ps4. Just looses to my gaming laptop really, that thing is insanely loud
EDIT: The first batches of the pro model were also ridiculously loud.
I have seen MWII ps4 bundles rot at walmart.
I was loyal to the PlayStation.
And I was anticipating a price reduction when the slim model came out well. There was no price reduction.
But walmart was selling the Xbox Series X $349 so yeah I'm team Xbox I never thought that would happen
that isn’t a usb port it’s for the ps camera
