I appreciate your scoring system! 😊 A Single Rider-only video sounds interesting, even if just to have a video that shows which rides have single rider.
Thank you for your videos. I was at Disneyland yesterday from rope drop to 10pm. We followed your advise and were on 19 attractions, Fantastic dinning package and fireworks. Never was in a line over 30 minutes. Did everything we wanted. It was a great day. I am exhausted
@@SoCalDisneyDad lol I bet! It was so fun!! Although I find the original Tower of Terror extremely scary/creepy due to the theme! My dad said when I first rode it as a kid I started screaming before it even dropped. lol.
Big Thunder is the best roller coaster at any park for me, you mentioned that you are starting to experience dizziness on some thrill rides, I totally get it, I am in my 50s and motion sickness is a significant issue now, Big Thunder is at my max tolerance and it is somewhat thrilling and the look of it is nice, you might create a video where you rate the dizziness level of rides for people like me
Dude I LOVE how much dedication you put into this. Spending 2 hrs personally reading through all of the comments & tallying up the scores is so awesome. And you’re right; your scoring system was great! You’re the man! Great work on this video. 🎉🎉🎉 1:10
Hi Traver! We are the family that said hi to you in the single rider line of Radiator Springs that day, and it was so great to see you! We were there celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary, so it was a bonus to get to say hi 😊 We really appreciate your videos and all the tips we picked up in the months preceding our visit. We did 5 days off rope drops, so it was definitely exhausting, but so fun!
Love the idea of a single rider video! Another idea is to do a late night video. Do the lines go down as it gets later? It would of course have to be at a time when you are spending the night. Maybe you could combine it with another hotel review!
I want to thank you for all of your tips and tricks- we just completed our first trip to Disneyland this past week from CT. We love watching you and the family and learning it all! Was hoping to see you guys in the parks but missed out! Keep up all the amazing work!!
Love the single rider video idea. Me and hubby are coming in April and will be hitting all the single rider rides I can stand and sending him on the ones I can't. 😂 Appreciate all your hard work on the stats too. We DO care. 😍
Autopia is a great ride for kids, who can’t drive. I absolutely loved it as a kid and now my 9yo daughter just loves it. But for adults… I drive everyday, there is nothing fun about a ride where I have to maybe wait in line for 45 minutes to… just drive!
Thanks for a great video. Yes please - I'm a solo traveler hoping to make my first trip to Disneyland soon so seeing a single rider video would be super helpful. Thanks.
Do you consider Tiki Room a “ride” or simply an attraction? My favorite because I see it as the most iconic for all things Disneyland. Animatronics, music, immersion, wonder and thrills. (not to mention your encouragement to take your Dole Whip in with you … try that in Rise!)
I fully appreciate the scoring! I created a spreadsheet of all of the nearby hotels and rated them on price, distance, breakfast and star ratings to help us choose!
I love this video idea! It makes me feel like I was a part of the process 😊…even if my fave (Luigi’s something or other, I can never remember exactly what it’s called lol) didn’t make the cut haha…I’d love to see a single rider video!
Hello Traver! I would love a video about single rider attractions. First visit to Disneyland in middle November, all I do now is watch your videos :) 3 months to go 🎉
Thanks for another fun video! I didn’t necessarily agree with the all rankings (mainly because I don’t do rollercoasters and I love Autopia) but your scoring system was solid!
I spent my day at California Adventure mostly riding Guardians and Incredacoster. 4x in one day for Guardians and 3 times in a row for Incredacoster... got a little nauseus after the 3rd incredacoster ride but that day was the best day Ive had in years and years. My daughter rode Guardians with me one of those times and she was scared but a trooper and I loved riding it with her.
I grew up going to Disneyland from the late 60’s and went regularly until 2008. It is so sad to see how complicated going on rides has become. I imagine that the park is so much more crowded than the 2000s and they have to do something to manage the crowds. So I guess just showing up and waiting in line is excruciating. But all the extra work you do to get on a ride just zaps all the fun out of it.
Could you do a further video on the best ride strategy with the new lightening lane multi pass? I’m visiting in October for the first time and not sure the best approach given the issues you’ve been experiencing!
Yes to single rider video! We're a family of four with kids that don't want to ride alone on the single rider option on Radiator Springs. It sounds like you said in this video that Radiator Springs would allow us to be seated as 2 groups of 2 in the single rider lane? Did I understand that right? We're fine being separated in groups of two, if that is the case. Appreciate your videos. Excited about our trip to Disneyland later this year. We're re-watching all your videos to prep for the fun!
@@HeatherLong-c9s No, I meant that single rider works really well because most parties are groups of four, and since the car only sits 3 wide (2 rows, 6 people total), all four can’t sit together. So they get split up 2 and 2, and then they take 2 single riders, one for the front and one for the back. So single rider moves very quickly. But you would absolutely be split up if you go single rider.
I appreciate your scoring system. I'm looking forward to a single rider video. As I've aged, I'm still into roller coasters but the wooden/rough ones are not my favorites any more and I avoid if possible. I'm planning to skip Matterhorn, I know I've ridden it before.
Hey Trevor. Our family absolutely loves your videos. We plan on going to Disneyland Aug 26th, Aug 27th (daughter's 5th birthday), and Aug 28th for DCA. Can you give us some tips or suggestions? Maybe join us 😊

Love the video! You mentioned for Guardians Mission Breakout that once Halloween starts there will be a monsters after dark version starting at 3PM, does this mean I can use LL twice? Once for the regular version and once for the after dark version? If yes, can you include a tip on how to get both for LL once Halloween season starts please?
That is correct. They are considered two separate rides for Multi Pass. I think LLs for after dark won’t even be available until after 3 PM. But I’m not positive.
hi traver!!! do you have any idea why the lighting lane is more chaotic now? i feel like it’s the same as genie plus just different names, so i wonder why the indiana jones was pushed out so early in the morning
I still can’t prove it, but I think they’re releasing less reservations in the morning and staggering drops throughout the day where they open up more. The why of it would take too long to muddle through. Because it’s a bunch of harebrained theories.
Everyone has their own methods but we have seen Indiana open late at times - and then we get a multi pass - so I’d rather rope drop another ride and lock in that LL because Indiana is a must do for us. That’s just our personal strategy because if Indiana is down at rope drop then the LL can push out 4 hours in a heartbeat.
I feel like most of the rides are a crap shoot at rope drop. Big Thunder, Indy, Matterhorn, and even sometimes Alice in Wonderland are spotty with being open. Space Mountain is USUALLY open, but I have seen it closed at rope drop before, but it's rare.
I had a question about the upcoming schedule in september. The world of color shows have not appeared on the schedule after september 8th but i cant find anything about any refurbishments. Do you know whats up with world of color next month?
Haha, they are Cartago Dunas sandals. Here’s my Amazon affiliate link: amzn.to/4fHMDzr If you buy them, I make a small commission. Costs you no extra. I noticed that Universal sells them in their main store inside the park, too. I pretty much never leave the house in anything but sandals once it gets warm enough. I do A LOT of walking, and while I’m sure this type of sandal is better than a Walmart cheapo pair, I’m also fairly sure that I’ve just built up a resistance to being on my feet. My feet didn’t even hurt after 10 days at WDW this year, and they’ve always hurt by like Day 3 in the past.
