The main reason why I love Todrick Hall music videos is because it brings back the best part of music videos: DANCING! Choreography! Brings you back to the 90's when every band would dance to their songs. It's nostalgic and still as engaging now as it was back then.
I disagree choreo is the best part of MVs. It's no where near as important as the acting within it and the actual music. There's a reason there are popular dance studios on YT; if people want dancing so much that's where they can enjoy it. Not to mention Kpop groups dance legit all the time in their MVs since the beginning, and Kpop is now a global sensation so I doubt choreo in MVs is as nostalgic as u claim it is.

Well I never expected to see two artists I respect filming in the same location within the past year, respective reigning right now as a "King" (Florence + The Machine) and a "Queen" (Todrick Hall). It's unfortunate the beautiful locations happened to be in Ukraine, where the country and it's people, including some of the cast and crew who helped make both videos, are going through such turmoil and tragedy right now that I hope ends as peacefully as it can, even with such travesty. Fortunately there's power that both singers are serving in these videos that vicariously reminds ourselves what we are capable of when we tap into our strengths and use them to contribute goodness in this world in whatever way we can, allowing others to enjoy the outcome of that contribution, like the art in these songs and videos.
Throughout the day I was analyzing why it seemed so familiar the location of this video and I remembered out of a sudden that there was something similar with King "(Florence + The Machine) and when I looked at the video again I realized and I was amazed not just because the location but the names of the songs. As you said and it's so true, there's power that both singers are serving in these videos, and the messages and the art are marvelous without precedent, and obviously taking into consideration what's happening in Ukraine, these are pieces of light in turmoil times.

Well I never expected to see two artists I respect filming in the same location within the past year, respective reigning right now as a "King" (Florence + The Machine) and a "Queen" (Todrick Hall).
It's unfortunate the beautiful locations happened to be in Ukraine, where the country and it's people, including some of the cast and crew who helped make both videos, are going through such turmoil and tragedy right now that I hope ends as peacefully as it can, even with such travesty.
Fortunately there's power that both singers are serving in these videos that vicariously reminds ourselves what we are capable of when we tap into our strengths and use them to contribute goodness in this world in whatever way we can, allowing others to enjoy the outcome of that contribution, like the art in these songs and videos.
Throughout the day I was analyzing why it seemed so familiar the location of this video and I remembered out of a sudden that there was something similar with King "(Florence + The Machine) and when I looked at the video again I realized and I was amazed not just because the location but the names of the songs. As you said and it's so true, there's power that both singers are serving in these videos, and the messages and the art are marvelous without precedent, and obviously taking into consideration what's happening in Ukraine, these are pieces of light in turmoil times.
