She wants nothing to do with the barons for the simple reason that they are at each others throat and can't see the bigger picture : They are out for themselves, not for the people of Zaun. And thus, she is also loyal to Zaun. It's either all or nothing for them.
The design of these side characters that work with Silco make him stand out way more. He looks so much more human, yet also much more intimidating than them.
It also feels like the other chem-barons dress up with more color and complexity and unnecessary frills, hyping themselves up and pretending to be more than they are. Then there's short and thin Silco, in his simple but sleek suit, staring at you quietly at the head of the table with the only detail that stands out being that baleful eye.

I do love how when Finn disappears, the others don't notice instantly. It actually takes a moment to notice, even the changes at the table take a hot second till after he disappears. It shows that Funn actually had a relative small influence amongst the other chem barons. Especially when compared to the instant reaction to when Silco and Ranni disappear.

Then when Silco and Renee disappear, more and more money and papers vanish with them. Smeech and the others are literally fighting over an empty chair as the empire their alliance built burns around them. Love the symbolism. EDIT: Symbolism, imagery, whatever it is, I just love the fact this show's so full of details you need to watch scenes a few times to see everything.
Context is a really powerful thing. I listened to this song without watching Arcane and seeing this scene and it feels nothing, but when I saw the scene while this song is playing. Damn its light and day difference.

Another punk who got too cocky, same old same old… Then when SILCO disappears they’re all so astonished and disbelieving of the possibility that he’s really dead that it’s only after Renni strikes out on her own do they feel safe to start fighting over who gets his chair.

Silco is the best character in the show. He sacrificed everything for Zaun and lost everything along the way. Then, when he finally achieved his goals, he threw it all away rather than handing over Jinx. This is a badass storyline!
In the end, he finally understood why Vander made peace with the very people they were trying to overthrow. Why he abandoned their dream of a free Zaun. Family.
A good thing to notice is as more chembarons and underground leadership dwindles, the money on the table is a lot smaller among those few left. Showing that Silco was a big reason theyd has so much comfort for so long. As soon as hes gone, it only takes 1 more baron dying for that table to look like it only has pocket change on it.
"Get your fingers out of my hair, you're gone, sucker". Jinx's hair seemed to be chopped off on Season 2 teasers... I guess this confirms Silco used to braid her hair.
Poor Zaun - Rich Piltover - The very example of our current world/society. You can't Kill Me I'm Already Dead Inside. Hits so hard to the core reminds me of Silco how he sacrificed everything to achieve his goal only to not lived it to fruition. You made another Epic music Riot. Thank you.
What I love about Arcane is that while the soundtrack does follow a specific structure, it is also full of almost any genre you can think of - AND IT STILL FITS PERFECTLY
For how much of a monster he was, it still hurts to see silco disappear from the table. Truly one of the most well written characters in tv history, and in only one short season no less
I love how this song is how they used up their one f-bomb for the series. People probably glossed over it, but I think that was actually a great place to put it.

Rip to Silco. One of the most compelling and complex characters ever written. Truly S tier writing and animating. The way his face would soften with Jinx, but his gaze cold and unwavering with the outlaws. And the voice acting. Jfc. My favorite scene with him was when he filled the room with gas without a mask for himself. His monologue and presence were impeccable.
Coolest father-daughter duo for a reason, hoping for some Silco scenes in Season 2 in any possible way...btw another banger track.

The Jinx's entrance is the best ever !
Silco is the best character in the show. He sacrificed everything for Zaun and lost everything along the way. Then, when he finally achieved his goals, he threw it all away rather than handing over Jinx. This is a badass storyline!
In the end, he finally understood why Vander made peace with the very people they were trying to overthrow. Why he abandoned their dream of a free Zaun. Family.

Silco is such a good character and learning more about his past just makes him more sympathetic and understandable how he became so merciless
A good thing to notice is as more chembarons and underground leadership dwindles, the money on the table is a lot smaller among those few left. Showing that Silco was a big reason theyd has so much comfort for so long. As soon as hes gone, it only takes 1 more baron dying for that table to look like it only has pocket change on it.
