Those kicks end Careers it's still a sport at the end of the day. Think of punching somebody in the back of the head you can change the way a person lives his day to day life
@@teejdavenport Alot of people die from punches to the head in boxing every year which also ends their career. Brain damage turns people into potatoes and is by far the biggest issue. When the goal of a sport is to beat each other unconscious, serious and potentially life changing damage should be expected. Unfortunately thats just a part of combat sports. In mma people get their limbs broken, Cybor Santos had his skull caved in by a flying knee. Guys get slammed on their head and ankle locks are also a thing.
All of that and much more can seriously fk people up so i really dont think attacking the knee is what crosses the line. And its not like a knee stomp is some insta win move anyway. If it was that effective we would see way more finishes with it. Its simply one more tool to use which can also fail and be countered. And yes sure a well timed powerful stomp to the knee can cause some serious damage but so can a headkick. Bisping lost his eye to one of those.

You may think you want to see that but I doubt it. Real gruesome injuries. Eye gouging, back of the head hits, throat chops, knee stops, ect..are all things you do in a backyard brawl. An example would be Jon Jones who use to eye gouge on "Accident" all the time they change what typa gloves you wear because of that. Certain moves you just don't do it takes away from the sport. Imagine if those moves were legal fights only lasting 1 round all the great fighters injured. It'll be chaos bro
@@teejdavenport Ofc the goal is to beat each other unconscious. The fighters usually try to knock each other out so thats exactly what they do. Especially in boxing this is what it is all about. And all the other illegal techniques you brought up are simply a strawman argument and dont matter here. We were talking about knee stomps which i dont think are that big of a deal compared to other things that are allowed. I rather cant walk because of a broken knee than sitting in a wheelchair because of brain damage.
And btw just because there is a rule against something doesnt mean it also makes sense. Rules can be stupid and lots of them are. 12-6 elbows not beeing allowed for example doesnt make sense at all. Not beeing allowed to knee a downed opponent is also supid and the ufcs judging system sucks in general so your whole rule point is not really an argument either.
Also there already is a street fight competition without rules and its called king of the street so if i did want to watch that type of competition i could but i dont because i think its stupid and unnesseceiry brutal to fight on concrete. Anyway, knee stomps are not that big of a deal in a sport where you can also punch someones head 100s of times during a single fight because again, braindamage is what actually fucks people up. Cut skin and broken bones are really not a big deal compared to CTE.
