Edwards didn't cut a promo, his mic moment was so sincere, truthful. An all time moment in MMA history.
He's elite no doubt, but I'm not feeling it. He was getting ouclassed that whole fight, let's be honest he got lucky and he won't defend the belt. All top 3 guys will win against him. Ofcourse he should be happy and relieved and all, but the luckyness for me takes away a bit from that whole long journey the doubted me and look at me now.

I’ll never forget Leon’s victory and then the entire post fight scene & speech. Just surreal, what an amazing moment in the history of MMA.

What makes Edward's interview so earnest and believable is that, despite being a top contender, he had to fight low ranked opponents during pandemic, while fighters like Colby and Masvidal fought for the title twice against Usman. I believe he would have gotten the belt 2 years back if not for pandemic...Now I just wish the he defends his title in dominating fashion
