Hey I can give you a tip not a source. If you go to the carver you can get it wayyyy cheaper. If you travel to dongyang, in china you can find thousands & thousands of wood carving artist. The now dictator of China Winnie the Poo, has gone incredibly crazy. He is an extreme racist & sociopath. So traveling to china or buying things is becoming harder every day. They have a village in Thialand with some excellent carvers, not as many as Dongyang. The price might actually be cheaper. You could fly ther buy several large pieces & fly back for less than buying 1 threw a broker. Also you can meet the artist & have customers pieces made. Just remember that in asia the opening price is 20X-10X times higher than what they will take. Haggeling is part of thier culture they don't see it as rude. Fierce negotiations are part of every day life. If you cave in & don't barter with them they view you as stupid & weak, not someone that they can respect or befriend.
