FREDERIK IX'S FUNERAL - NO SOUND

Denmark's King Fredrik IX aged 72 died on Friday 14th January. Burial ceremony took place 24th. According to old tradition funeral act is split into two parts. First short ceremony in church of Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen. Then coffin carried from little town Roskilde, 30 km west of Copenhagen. King is put to rest in Roskilde Cathedral which holds nearly all late Danish kings for past 1,000 years. Coffin carried out of church by highest officers in Danish army. New Queen Margrate and husband Prince Henrik standing beside Queen Ingrid. The cathafalg with coffin is drawn through city by 50 sailors at which of late king. Queen Ingrid and daughter now Queen together with King Of Norway, the King of Sweden, King Of Belgium, Queen Juliana of HOlland and other royal guest follow the coffin on foot.
