I am washed away...
I discovered this amazing music in 1984, and I have cherished ever since. My greatest memory was happening upon a small add in the Village Voice in NYC, probably around 1995, advertising Andreas at the Blue Note that very night! I couldn't believe it! My wife and I got there over 3 hours early (it's was such a small and intimate venue) and were seated right in front, 6 feet away from Andreas! I will never forget it to this day. I thank you from the depths of my soul, for this wonderful music that I have been blessed to be fortunate to have flowing through me for over 35 years now. All my best to you Andreas, and of course Walter and Isabel. I pray I get to see you one more time before my life comes to a close. Pete (now from Philly).

Today here, in Ufa, near the Ural Mountains, the first snowfall fell from deep dark clouds, and then the sun opened the rays of its smile. This concert was very similar to that scenes of nature: from the deep dark notes of the cello to the high and light tones of the harp. Thank you dear Andreas, Isabelle and Walter !!! Peace for everyone !!!

I've been listening for 30 years
I had the great pleasure of hearing Andreas Vollenweider in 3falke cinema in Copenhagen in 1984. The hall was completely full and there was an expectant atmosphere between the audience. When the group came in there was applause. But I remember there was an absolute silence between the numbers throughout the first part. No applause, no sounds but a totally paralyzed audience. But as the group got up to pause, a ragnarok of the whistle began and the applause would not stop. No one had heard anything like that music before and everyone was wild with excitement. When the group came back to play the second part, it was a completely different audience. People stood up and clapped and the excitement was overwhelming. I was a rock fanatic, but the concerts are one of the best in my life. A wonderful experience I will never forget.
I’ve been a fan since the 80’s, Andreas your music touches my soul…thank you may you be blessed. Wonderful musicianship. These are my favorite songs!!

How I adore this man. Met him on the White Winds tour when they played in Dallas. Wonderful fellow. When he shook my hand I told him I was almost afraid to squeeze back and he said, "Oh I USE them." "That," I said, "is the understatement of the century."

Dear Andreas, i met your music en the early 90s with your original studio recordings when like other followers i was a child. These beautiful songs are part of special moments and preciate remembers.
This new solo performances are amazing and i feel it more warm and soulful in so many ways that i cannot describe right now, so i encourage you to put this together in an album or post it in the digital platforms.

Yes, his music is very healing. When we have access to a technology that can reveal such things I think we will find that his music holds a higher frequency, maybe even the fifth dimensional frequency we are currently evolving toward. To me, his music is like the air I breathe, essential for life on this planet.

Is started listing to your music at the age of 7 when I got your cassette tape of magic cave by accident. I had a difficult youth and your music gave me an alternatieve world of fantasy in which I could escape. I felt a sleep for over aprox. 5 years while listning to that tape. I’m now 37 and I am a composer myself. I learned so much by listning to your music. Thank you for this wonderfull journey thru the world of music mr. Vollenweider.

Like the rest of the world, we are dealing with Covid-19 and our numbers are rising again as we were warned many months ago. There is so much sickness and death and it overwhelms us by the sheer enormity of it all. In addition to that, our political situation is dire. We are soon to have an election. Indeed, voting has already begun in many places. It is a time for much angst and anguish. If ever we needed a quiet place, a special place of peace and serenity, it is now. Our minds are filled with noise and clutter. Your beautiful music helps clear that away and leaves a lingering feeling of calm even after the musical notes have drifted away. Thank you, thank you! I hope some day I am able to hear you play live in concert - for real in a concert hall or a lovely meadow would work, too! But for now, your mini offerings will work, too! It is lovely...I can see our lake from my bedroom window right now...dusk....the breeze is blowing a slight ripple across the water like they are made from the music. So peaceful. So beautiful the music.

Been listening to Andreas Vollenweider since 1985. He's amazing and this concert is incredible. His mini-concerts have been an absolute joy during these times. Love new album, but also thrilled that he included some variations on his earlier work, like some of the pieces from Down to the Moon.
I remember also, first hearing his music on the sound system of a little cafe,in Oklahoma City, in 1985. Have been comforted and calmed by his gift ever since. Thrilled to listen to the mini concert.

@@isabelgehweilercellist when i hear a great cello as is yours within your arms...i hear a soul...and for half my lifetime i have listened to Andreas and his Friends...many conversations between the soul,the earth, and the seekers imagination.....Once i was a young man devoting his life thru meditation and practices to achieving a higher realm permanently...now i am retired....and it was all for the good...all great benefit...higher consciousness sustained my take several lifetimes....but i have had this experience....and all my 'sound based' meditation allows sounds of music to go to my core so much more profoundly....thanks for speaking so well to me..to all of us...we love you more than you will ever know......
